I have an older E-Z-GO golf cart and it required batteries - Sam's Club has the exact size I was looking for and at the best price. The Sam's Club associate even loaded them into my pickup truck for me and when I returned the old batteries - he also unloaded them. Change out was as easy as one, two, three and when I checked the charge on the batteries - they were all good and my cart has not run this well in years. I bought 4 of these batteries, supposedly made by Deka, to replace 2 Group GC2 batteries in my sailboat. These were slightly taller than the batteries replaced but fit in my battery storage area and are providing excellent power for my onboard electronics. I saved a lot of money and have better batteries to boot.

These batteries were for my RV house batteries and they were a perfect fit! They were fully charged and ready to go!

Always, always, always check the battery acid level just after you buy ANY battery. None of the eight batteries that I have bought are up to the proper level. AND, with a new battery---put in real battery acid to give it the best start in life for the longest service life. After it starts with all it was intended for, then you can top off with distilled water the rest of the time. Water vapor is what escapes and needs to be replenished as it is used. Having the right amount of sulfuric acid to start (from the battery acid (available at any auto parts store) will reduce the failures that so many report. Consider a de-sulfinator device to keep it running longer---it is worth the investment and can make a battery last twice as long.

Like others have said, you have to keep these watered. I have them series in a boat, they work great running lights, charging phones, and keeping everything cold in an Isotherm fridge overnight. That's a 40Ah draw and 100W of solar puts half that back when it's sunny. They winter on the boat in MD trickled by solar. Got 4 years out of the first set, but I skipped the watering and paid the price. Now I check every spring as part of commissioning, year 4 again and they're going strong.

Very Impressed With these batteries, I purchased quite a few for a solar project. When I got them home I checked the fluid as I've seen where some say the fluid level has been known to be low when new.. That wasn't the case for me, The fluid level was at the level it should be. I've also heard that they are extremely low on voltage when people purchase them,Once again that wasn't the case here, I checked all the ones after getting them home and they were all at full charge. I hooked them up to our solar equipment, they power our fridge, freezer, tv, computers every night and an 8,000 btu air conditioner a few hours on certain nights.. We are totally off-grid here.. Completely solar powered with these batteries as backup at night.. We've had them for over a year now and am pleased to say that these batteries are still working as good today as they were the day that we received them. We are highly impressed with our purchase and plan to purchase more in the near future for more projects.

Replaced all of my cart batteries, one was bad took it back and had to buy another. It had a 2013 date on it. Didn't want to argue so just purchased this one. Just check the dates on each battery when they get them out of the rack. Other than that they are a good replacement for the money.

Bought 8 of these Batterys 8 years ago. Darn it they are now failing. Actually I do have to keep an eye on them in the summer. As for bang for the buck these are my goto for Off the Grid. I will be replacing my 8 failing batteries with these. The Life span was way better than expected

When first put in your cart runs like a charm, two months later its dead across town and you need to push it home. I have had 12 of these batteries in less than a year. First 6 died within 4 months. Second 6 did not even last 3 months. I took the cart to the shop thinking something has to be wrong with it. The guy checked it all over said nothing seemed amiss on it, we just bought cheap budget batteries and they were junk. So, I am out $800 plus dollars and have to go repurchase different batteries that will actually work! Thanks for nothing Duracell and Sams Club

I put 6 of these in my golf cart in January 2025. They failed in 1 1/2 years. Fully charged they would go less than a quarter mile. Not suited for cart that is used on 7 acre place.
