Got what I wanted

I got 2 of these about 2 years ago. They have been used in a boat, as a combination start battery for a little 21hp motor & also to run lights. They worked well for the period of time when the solar system brought them up to float voltage almost every day. Then, I had a decline in my solar output & they ran low for about a month. I found the voltage at 12.2vdc. After that, they just don't have the power to start the motor anymore, even when the voltage was up to 12.8v at rest. The price is the best in town. I'm scratching my head about the quality. Would other flooded lead acid batteries have better tolerated not being fully charged for a month? I don't know.
