I received this product in the mail and took it straight tot he store to be returned. There is hardly any room to walk through the gate. I didn't try to set it up or take it out of the plastic. It is very tall, but did not meet the expectations of what I needed from a gate.

I got this gate to keep my dog out of a bedroom where my cat eats and often sleeps. It keeps the dog out, but keeps the cat out too! I sawed off one of the spokes so my cat could fit through. It's fine - kind of small opening and only swings one way.

Got this for my high energy larger breed dog to keep him away from roommate's cat who live in front half of apt. Great bc he cant jump it and I can easily walk through. Not too difficult to set up, though instructions arent the best. No tools needed beyond screwdriver. Can be taken down and moved to a new doorway. Should do only minimal damage to walls/doorway (just small holes) And the price of this compared to others was considerably lower yet it is extra high and sturdy. A great buy.

We bought this gate for 2 main reasons: 1~keep our very active 2 1/2 year old out of the Kitchen (so she dont hurt herself!!) & 2~ to keep our Lab/Huskey mix dog confined to the kitchen during meal times, when we are out for short times.... The gate is great height & my husband had no trouble putting it up. Only problem is that the gate opening to pass in/out is not very big, it could be a bit wider but the pluses outweigh that. It's easy to open, so small kids at some point will figure it out..Our dog so far has not even tryed to jump up on it. Good gate if your looking for something stronger, taller, & that will last longer than the cheapy plastic baby gates.

This gate was to small for my for my normal size door way. With the extender, it was to big. I went to the regalo website, and they want to charge almost $20 for a smaller extender. I emailed their company, and left voice mails... Tried to see if they would do anything for me. They would not even respond back to me... So I returned it to walmart, and will never buy Regalo again.

I've had three different gates before this one, and this is by far the most sturdy gate. Neither my kids nor my boxer can knock it over, and I really can open it with one hand. **I used different screws to install the gates because the screws included, I felt, were too short**

This gate is easy to set up, but is not very strong. We have a 50lb dog that can easily knock this down if it is not EXTRA tight, to the point you have to loosen the gate to open the door! This would work well to keep an animal out of a particular area or would work well for SMALL children. Does not work well to keep a dog confined in a room unless it is a small dog.

I have 4 dogs and the small dogs are the ones that use to climb over the baby gates even when I had two up! They are unable to climb this gate since the bars are only vertical! This one is less embarrassing to have up since I am selling my house and it's easy to let the dogs out. The directions to set it up were a little confusing but maybe I lack the common sense haha. Great buy!

I would have to say this is almost the perfect gate. It's nice looking, sturdy, and worry free. We purchased it for the top of the stairs as a permanent fixture. We have an open staircase a crawling grandchildren. There is however one little flaw. The opening of the gate is rather small and makes it nearly impossible to take anything up or down the stairs that you can't raise over your head. Most men would have difficulty getting through the opening without turning sideways. Additionally I find it odd that not one company lists the dimensions of the opening on any of these products.

This is a very good product. I use it as a baby gate to keep my 9 month old daughter out of places she doesn't need to be. It is well built and sturdy.
