Not too hard to install and easy to use, but Im not a huge fan of the latching feature. Which you must lock at the top and bottom manually. The biggest downside is that some of it screws in the wall, but it's still held up by pressure. My dogs 70ish lbs and they got excited and bumped it (not even trying to get out) and knocked the whole thing over. Would be scared to have a toddler put all their weight on it!!

The gate itself is a perfect height. But why wouldn't you make the handle childproof? My 2 and 3-year-old grandchildren have no issues with opening this gate and waltzing through it. It truly defeats the purpose of having a gate in the first place if the handle is so easily opened!

These gates are well constructed, easy to set up (the cups are optional except for stairtop use). The instructions, as with nearly any product today are a little slim in instruction, but ok for most. The gate itself is a little slim, had to take them down for a visit from a friend recently who wouldn't have made it through the gateway. Otherwise, no complaints, works as described and well constructed (metal not plastic).

I used site to store to make this purchase. It came in a very thin, but large box. As such, I thought it would be too heavy to lift/carry, but it isn't at all. It's actually very lightweight. I made this purchase to keep my five year old yorkie confined to one floor when I have company. It's perfect for this task. It is very tall which keeps him from jumping over it (he can jump higher than three feet), very sturdy, and it still allows me to be able to see him and him I. I have been using this product for approximately two weeks. The walk-through gate is on the narrow side which isn't a problem for us, but for larger people, it may prove to be. I found the installation to be rather simple which surprised me because I am not handy in the least...it will be a lot easier if you have a power screw driver assuming you need to actually screw the legs/arms into a wall. Another good point is the lock feature on the gate. When I locked the gate using the red slide piece, it securely locked and required me to use both hands to open the gate. If I just lock the gate using the fold down bar part and no red slide piece, it seems to still be securely locked, and then I need only one hand to open the gate. In either case, puppy isn't able to open the gate. However, the latter locking method may not work for people with larger dogs (puppy is just over 10 pounds). In terms of decorum, the gate is white as pictured and fits in well with my stairwell and surrounding walls. The price isn't bad either. In fact, I searched for the identical gate on the internet, and it seems when you take shipping costs into account, Walmart has the lowest price. I have no complaints.

At 41 inches in height it is definitely tall enough to stop our dogs from jumping over, with the included hardware I secured it to the doorframe so it could not be pushed out of place. The gate opening is a little narrower than we are used to but we glad to exchange that to be able to have peace of mind. I would recommend it to friends.

We actually are using this for one of our cat that is an escape artist and likes to dash outside and go missing. With this it finally keeps him separated and away as he can't jump over it and we haven't had any escape attempts since. Great product, easy set up, served our purpose.

We bought this gate to keep our dogs in their bedroom at night. Yes, they have their own bedroom because we didn't want them sleeping with us so we bought 2 gates. Easy to setup and operate. My neighbor found out that her dog peed in her guest room. She has trouble with smell but her guest didn't. She is going to buy one. Thanks CR

These were great gates for a pup. The only thing is that you need to use the screw in cups to keep it from moving around in the door frame. I love the height but forgot that the cat may want to pass through when it is shut, the shorter ones he can jump but the tall one I put a stool on either side so he can jump it. It is so nice to be able to open the gate and go through. Especially with my elderly mother. ( you must stress that you must step over a lower support). I know the dog is secure and will not be able to jump this easily. If you tighten it in too much it is hard to get the gate open, that is why the screw in cups help.

Nice in size it does stop the dogs from climbing over that was my reason for purchasing. I bought this to replace the other walk-through baby gate I had. the dogs are five months old Rottweiler and Doberman mix and were able to climb over the other gate. there were no spots in the other gate for them to put their feet on to help them climb over they are just that tall. It is a narrow opening but I weigh 240 and I am able to go through there. I highly recommend this to block pets not for anyone with a smart 2 year old it's very easy to open for a toddler. Its easy set up so easy to open that my five-year-old grandson can reach the top and figure it out.

I have had this gate up for about 1week. It has kept my 2 jack russell puppies where they belong. It is definitely high enough to confine them for some time to come. It was very easy to install and has been very stable. The gate works easily and 1 handed. Good purchase.
