It's good, very tall. I don't care for the latch because it's a little complicated but if you bought this for sneaky smart older toddlers then this might actually be a great thing. Keeps my giant puppy in the kitchen but my cats can still jump it as they please which is exactly what I wanted

I bought this to prevent my 6 .month old kitten from the room with my Christmas tree. It is tall enough and she cannot jump over it. The only issue is, I had go cover the open slots because she was small enough to slip through it. Other than that, it was perfect.

I have two german shepherds I usually keep outside but I bring inside every now and then if the weather is bad. Our female is quite an escape artist so I needed something that could keep her in. This item was definitely tall enough but it is a little flimsy because my hallway entrance is a little wide. Even with the extensions I can feel its to the last twist almost. The baseboard in my house gets in the way to be able to screw on the bottom pieces correctly so I have them placed at an angle to that plays part in why it doesnt feel as sturdy. So not a big deal since Ill be changing out my baseboards soon and it will be a flatter surface for them to go in. Regardless though the gate is able to keep in both of my shepherds and especially my 65 lb female german Shepherd who continuously jumps on it.

I have 2 cats. The smaller of the two slid right through the bars like butter. This gate is a baby gate but was advertised for pets as well. I had to tighten it more against the wall. Now it's fine. It's not much of a complaint. And you get an extender as well which is a plus. I do like the gate even after the small mishap.

The height is great. The easy swing door offers comfortable accessability. It took a little adjusting to the door frame, to keep everything aligned so the gate would latch properly, whenever the dog jumped up against it. We are pleased with the gate.

Love that this gate is extra tall and it was easy to set up. It is really sturdy once tightened into the doorway. I’ve bumped into it several times and it hasn’t come loose. It comes with an extra piece for wider doorways but I didn’t need it for a standard door. My only concern is the latch. It seems to be spring loaded and feels like it could break over time. This latch is different than previous walk through gates I’ve had. There is a locking mechanism to keep smart babies from opening the latch and escaping. Sams price was great and they shipped fast!

My Nephew and his almost 3 yr. old son have come to stay with me until a vaccine for covid is available. (He's high risk). I bought several baby gates, and then tried this one. I like this one the best! He doesn't like being corralled, and he pushes on the gates. He's figured out how to open some of them. He seems to 'respect' this one better. I think part of the reason is that it's taller, and seems more imposing to him. He also hasn't managed to figure out how to open it, unlike the others. I would recommend this gate! It's a good one!

With our kids at ages 9 and 7, I never thought we'd be buying another baby gate! Excellent strength and reliability. Easy to install within 3". No holes to be made into our walls. Tall enough for a full grown dog and easy for the family to get through. Door stays open when we need it to. Great find and price!

This seems to be a good product, solid, no sharp edges. Used 'as is' in a 32" doorframe, the four pressure pads were not secure as they should be - the four pressure pad adjusment bolts were extended too far to be stable I added 1-7/8" of wood to each side of the door frame and inset the pads ~3/8' deep with a 1-3/8" Forstner bit. This modification exposes much less of the four adjustment bolts and the unit is much more stable. Our Grandson loves it - it helps him to stand and may be an aid to him walking sooner. This product offers extensions to fix wider opening - a six inch one was in the box with ours. I would suggest making the gate/frame about 3" wider, or put a 3-3-1/2" extension in the box since I believe most doorways are 32". Enjoyed adapting this gate to our door (It gave me an excuse to purchase a set of Forstner bits).

This gate is great at preventing my son from climbing over! My son has HF ASD, and is always getting into the fridge or touching the sink or stove. He figured out how to open our last 2 gates, so we tied them closed. But then he would just climb over the gate, by pulling a chair near it. We got the tall gate this time and its been such a blessing. Thank you Regalo gate company!
