At 41 inches in height it is definitely tall enough to stop our dogs from jumping over, with the included hardware I secured it to the doorframe so it could not be pushed out of place. The gate opening is a little narrower than we are used to but we glad to exchange that to be able to have peace of mind. I would recommend it to friends.

We had previously purchased one of the wooden baby gates, but the dog just used the cross braces to hoist himself over it! This one is taller and the dogs are now unable to go over it and the sturdy construction of this gate provides me with peace of mind while I am at work!!! Happy wife...happy life!!!

Amazing gate! Easy assembly. Good quality. Comes up to rib cage vicinity on me - I'm 5'8" tall. Keeps ou jumping very strong Pit Bulls within our kitchen with no issue! Very seamless opening mechanism. Our 7 yr. old son loves the ease of operation on his own. Highly recommend this gate for the total cost. We are ordering 1 more too now! Love this gate!!! Bought it to keep my daughter in and the dogs out!! Works great!! Even though my Chihuahua is able to squeeze threw the bars, my other dogs are bigger and can't. And since the gate is so tall, they are unable to jump it like they do the smaller ones.

We began putting the gate together in the doggie room. At first, it appeared that the top of the gate would not connect. We were all stumped. I suggested that we put the gate in the door frame to see if that would make a difference (and it did)! Once inside the door frame and pressure was applied by tightening up the four screws, we were able to secure the gate and the top closure worked perfectly! I was somewhat disappointed because there was no spring on the gate. Of course, that was not a necessity, but that extra feature would have been nice! I purchased the gate for the lady who grooms and kennels my dogs! Several of them are runners and the lady does not live far from the street. People come in and out dropping off and picking up dogs throughout the day. To put my mind at ease, I gifted the gate to her! She was so excited and said,”I don’t know why I never thought about getting this before!” I don’t think she realized that some dog owners may have been concerned about their fur babies safety! Now, for the price of the gate, all pet owners have peace of mind! What a small price to pay!

Worked fine for about 7 months before one of the (too small) welds broke on the main walk through portion of the gate. Now I'm stuck with a broken gate that I have to figure out how to repair or replace it since their warranty is only for 90 days. The height is nice on this, but if you're expecting it to last, it probably won't. I personally wouldn't buy from this brand again or recommend that anyone purchase it if you're looking for a long lasting product. It's made obvious they don't expect it to last by the 3 month warranty offered. Broken after 7 months of ownership? I'd call that cheaply made.

This is our 4th gate that we have purchased, not due to it not holding up but because it works that great and we bought more for other rooms. Would definitely recommend. Easy to install, holds up for the long haul and super easy to operate. Great value for a great product.

I purchased this to keep the cat out of my 6 month old's bedroom without having to close the door. My 9 lb cat can't jump over it, but was able to squeeze between the bars beside the gate door. We just used clear tape to block the space between those bars, sticky side out. She hates tape/losing fur, and after one failed attempt to get through she hasn't done it again. The gate has worked well for us. Opening is on narrow side.

Toddler, 2 years and 8 months, unlatched it within 2 minutes, while I was in another room. Luckily I glanced over to “make sure” all was fine and saw toddler before they reached a danger point, ran to them just in time. Exchanging for a gate with a double lock mechanism.

I like the product, there could have been one more extension with small size. It works perfect and sits properly without screws. The locking system could be better. My gate is sitting so tight I need to push little to unlock to open the gate. rest all good.
