Gate door only swings open one way. Would prefer being able to choose which side of gate opens and if gate swings in or out

Very easy to install and use. Keeps the dogs and cats in their room when they need to be away from the rest of the house.

Brought the gate for keeping my cats in down stair. Good points: The product is easy to install and look good. Drawback: Spaces between steel bars are too big, my cats (all grown and weight between 6 - 8 pounds) can go through them. Suggestion: Need to reduce the spaces between bars.

It didn't come with the 4 pack of pressure mounts, 4 wall cups or booklet, and it had gross looking blood like sumdge marks. So irritating, especially because of corona virus I ws trying to avoid going to the store, now I have to return and re order.

So the height of the gate was what was important to me so that we could ensure our cats wouldn’t hop the gate. It’s advertised as 41” tall once assembled, we got the same gate but it’s assembled height is only 36”. We decided to try it anyways and have had a motion sensor camera on it since it’s been set up, so far it still has kept the cats away, they haven’t even attempted to jump over it, so it is working. But I was disappointed that it was 5” shorter than it was supposed to be. As far as the gate itself, it is fantastic. Just be aware that it’s not the height advertised.

This extra tall gate has been wonderful for this pet lover. I know longer have to bend down and pick up the old gate and have to turn around with it to replace it. With this gate I just open the latch and walk on through. I do have to semi turn sideways as I am a larger person to get through the narrow opening but it is a wonderful product. It's sturdy and fits my doorway perfectly. It comes with an additional panel if you have a larger than normal doorway but I did not need to use it. I'm going to buy three more for the other places in my home where pets are not allowed. The gate goes all the way to the floor and the slats are close enough where my small dogs cannot get through. I'm very pleased with my purchase and the color black matches my home decor just fine.

Really liked the height of this gate and it worked well for our purposes with a little improvising. We are using it to keep cats and kittens from going upstairs so we had to add some cardboard with luggage ties so they couldn't get between the bars. Not pretty but it gets the job done. Easy to put up and take down also. Only negative is the opening is narrow and even for me, an average sized woman, I feel I have to go through the gate more sideways than straight ahead.

I LOVE this thing. I dont use it for a baby though I have 3 dogs who I use it for. One is a shih Tzu and the other two are husky's. Theyre puppies so they cant get through it or over it. I will update when they are full grown but for now ABSOLUTELY YES !
