It work just as expected we actually have it set up as a octagon versus mounting it on to our wall. I personally didn't want to make the holes on my way. I did however put a abc mat under neat it because my son would push it around only because we have wood floors and it tend to move easily. But with the foam mat it stay and he can't push around. He has learn how to unlock the door though. Over the product is great and works as expected.

After quite a bit of research, I decided to order the Regalo baby gate and play yard. I am so glad I did. It has made my life watching an active 9 month old grandchild so much easier! We've set it up as a play yard in our living room and at 192 inches, it's a very ample play area . The construction is sturdy and clean-looking (white polished metal) and is very stable, even with the baby pulling on the rails to stand. With a few twists on the joining caps, this play yard can easily be configured as a square, rectangle or octagon. The gate is well-made and baby proof. The whole thing can also be opened up and used in a wide doorway as a straight or curved baby or pet gate. I was very pleased with the speedy delivery, and assembly was easy and straightforward. All in all, we're very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

We were totally amazed when we took the product out of the box!! Definitely much bigger than we thought it would be. Our objective: To get a gate around our pellet stove and protect the little one from getting burned. We thought it would cover the pellet stove, but surprised us that it's long enough to go down one side of your living room wall. Not only is the stove protected, so is'nt the electronics. I'm very thrilled about that. Seeming our 1yr old is fascinated with the tv and other equipment. It would'nt be too difficult for him to pull the tv down and get hurt. I'm more than pleased with this gate and highly recommend it. It's very easy to put together. Not much work to it, and very easy to manuever it about to the way you want it. Not only is this a plus for children, but would work for most people with pets. That depends on the size of your pet. My husband had it up and secure within minutes. I did'nt think to time it, but it was no more than 15-20 minutes. I like the way the lock works on it, double protected, and very easy to use. One handed operation. Thanks for the headache reliever!!!!!!!

This gate works perfectly with the bottom of our staircase which is similar to the one in the product's photo but with a landing that comes out. I searched the internet and came across this. It can be secured to the wall or we just have it setup where it didn't need to be attached to a wall. It's a good barrier to prevent our baby/toddler from wanting to climb up the stairs all day. :)

I'm very happy with the fence and it's versatility, price and especially the size. I have little dogs in my home and needed a keep them away from my kitchen. The fence is extremely stable without attaching it to any walls, which is exactly what I wanted. Overall the fence is very well made and was ready to use right out of the box. What keeps me from giving a 5 is the latch on the gate. It is flimsy compared the sturdiness of the fence and I expect the pin that holds the gate latch will break with use. I think I can fix it with a small nut and bolt when that happens so I'm not too worried about that. I would recommend the product to anyone but I would point out the latch.

This gate fit our needs. We have a wide opening from our living room to the kitchen and we needed a gate to keep our 8 week old yorkie confined. The only reason its5 not a 5 star is that our yorkie can fit through the bars. We had to put a mesh fence attached to the gate to keep her in.

We have a wood burning stove in our living room. We use it to heat half our house in the winter time. We also have a 14 month old grandson who is big for his age (33" tall and about 30 lbs.), very curious, and is on a mission to seek and destroy all things labeled "child proof." Not a great combination, right? Well, this was the perfect solution. It was easy to install and held up to all the shaking, leaning on, and other "testing" our toddler tried. Once he figured out he couldn't knock it down, toss it around, or climb it, he was no longer interested. Our living room is toasty warm and our grandson is safe from harm. I also feel better knowing that our older dogs can't cozy up too close to the stove anymore.

We needed a secure small spot for long term dog injury recovery. I like that the door handle can be operated easily with one hand. Installation easy. Works great for our 20 lb. dog. Came with devices to attach to wall but we don't need them. Sturdy enough without them for our situation.

We bought 2 of these to close off a semi straight line between the living room and dining room. Easy to assemble and serves it's purpose of keeping baby from falling on the step between living room and dining room. Plus baby loves to hold it and walk!

This item is so incredible versatile, sturdy, love it! I disconnected parts to make other "gated" areas to block wondering baby. It's so simple and very well constructed. The only thing I don't like it's the handle is a little hard to push down on my gate. It's fine and works, it's just stiff - kind of sticky like. But I totally love this gate!!
