Very sturdy as stand alone gate but my baby got it figured out in two days....did not prevent him from going where he's not suppose too. I bought this because I don't want holes in my wall but I am a bit disappointed. However, it is built very well worth the price and the option of screwing into the wall is really needed for a baby like mine.

Loving this gate so far. It's flexibility allows us to adjust to our little guys changing needs and it's managed to resist all attempts to knock it down, bite through it, and jiggle it loose. He's pretty destructive for a cruiser and this gate is standing up pretty well :)

I bought this more to keep the dog where I wanted him then to keep the kids corraled but it works great for both situations I love that I can bend it and make a play pen for the dog if someone comes to the door or confine him to my room with the door open but it is also big enough that it will go the length of my playroom!!! Love this gate better then any others and I have been through at least five different kinds

This is a great gate! It’s able to block off very large spaces and I can move it around the house and even outside. I’m using it without securing it to the wall and it’s fine for smaller dogs! I would definitely recommend this product and it was a great price too.

I loved it, I was looking for a large gate, to help me so that my baby could not crawl to the kitchen when I am cooking! and so I can keep it in a safe place! is fantastic! It is resistant, long, large, very easy to install, It is lightweight, easy to move and adapts to different types of use, such as in super wide baby gate or Play yard !! I like it because my 11-month-old and two-year-old girls can't open the door that has the gate, but adults can easily open it !! It can be screwed to the wall very easy, This door met my needs. It is of excellent quality !! I really recommend it !!

I was looking for a gate to separate my dogs from each other (a 10 lb and 20 lb vs. a 70 lb) who wanted to claim alpha status. Of course, the little ones were here first and they do not recognize the size or disposition of the 70 lb. Dog gates are so expensive and more suited for puppies or yard dogs. This gate/pen worked out perfectly! I needed the metal due to the size of my 70 pounder. The one hand gate opener is a big benefit. I also love the fact that it can be used in several configurations. I ended up with 2 panels left over that we used on another project. I would recommend screwing the bottom of the gate to the floor if you use this for indoor animals - just for more stability.

Keeping up with him and keeping him out of places all the time sometimes just can't happen. Absolutely love this. Definitely wish I would have had with my oldest son. I can move it upstairs or downstairs depending the need especially when it gets cooler to put around the fireplace! Would be great if you had animals to keep separate also.

We have had it for three days and it is so far working well. There was only a few things that got in the way that made it difficult to be a perfect fit around our staircase. The door only opens in one direction and we wanted the door to open away from the staircase. This caused the gate to be short on the end we needed it to be long and too long on the other end of the wall. This caused the gate to be somewhat distorted around the staircase vs a perfect rectangular shape. It would be nice if each segmented hinge could be removed so you can shorten the gate or move the door around so it can fit perfectly around the staircase. Even though we have a few issues, I would still buy this product. It works great with keeping my 20 month old son off the staircase.

One of the plastic pieces was broken right out of the box. Two days up, and my toddler was able to break one of the metal rods right off, resulting in another plastic piece breaking and being irreparable. Cheaply made, not at at all worth the money spent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having two little ones learning to walk at the same time is a handful. I have learned that trying to find a baby gate that actually works is hard. Then I found this one. I am in love!!! It is quite big (which was the selling point for me). It reaches from one side to the other of my living room!! This makes cleaning the house or having to do anything period easier. Now instead of having them in their room and having to stop every five minutes to check on them I can do what I need to while they play in the living room. It is super easy to install which was another huge plus for me. The gate is easy to open and close but is very secure. I also love the fact that you can make it into a "gated play yard" if you wanted to. Overall this is a must have!!!
