This gate saved my little one's life. He is 10 months old and loves to crawl to the kitchen and open drawers and cupboard that are stuffed with kitchen utensils that are not safe to play with. I had hard time keeping him away by blocking my wide space with Ottoman and chairs, But Now with that gate..... I am so happy and relaxed and feel safe to put him on the floor again... We use this in an area with a large door frame, and the door frame is built with awkward diagonal design so standard gates don't work both because of the size and the angles of the doorway. This playard/gate works perfect for the area! It came with wall anchors and folds up into a nice low-profile gate that can be laid flat against one of the walls.

I love the 4-in-1 Large Playard. I have only had it a couple of days but I am loving the many uses for it. I love the fact that it is easy to set up and take down. I also love the fact that it can be shaped into almost any shape to make a convenient play area. The only thing I am concerned about is the fact that the knobs are plastic and that they are going to break with constant use.

This is best extended baby gate in the market. There is few other alternatives. The gate latch design can be improved.

It is in face extra large like the name identifies it as. It was originally going to be used to go around our fireplace, but it extended well past that. Now, we have it blocking the fireplace and the entertainment center. It is sturdy enough so that our 7 month old can pull up on it, and we even talked about getting another one to go around our Christmas tree. I did not rate it a 5 because one of the bars was bent when we opened the package.

honestly it took 2 minutes of putting together before our toddler got it open- lock didn't lock and would just slide open with ease. had to disassemble and put back together. locks now but didn't keep toddler from getting through- 2 button lock might work better? keeps dog out at least.
