Bought this gate for the bottom of our staircase which is wide and curved. It is well made and sturdy so I just ordered a second one for the fireplace. It is so sturdy that I that I just have it freestanding(not screwed into the wall) and my 23lb baby can pull himself up onto it and it does not tip at all. Great product!!

Fit the large section wonderfully. Wish we could have removed just one section (would have been perfect), but I understand the alternating sections having to be ends. We just kept it all together and zig-zagged the fencing. She knows how to open with just the lift bar, but cannot (yet) figure out the locking mechanism. As it is metal, I am considering another one for in front of the fireplace. I will be able to remove 2-4 sections, there with no problem. Love this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having two little ones learning to walk at the same time is a handful. I have learned that trying to find a baby gate that actually works is hard. Then I found this one. I am in love!!! It is quite big (which was the selling point for me). It reaches from one side to the other of my living room!! This makes cleaning the house or having to do anything period easier. Now instead of having them in their room and having to stop every five minutes to check on them I can do what I need to while they play in the living room. It is super easy to install which was another huge plus for me. The gate is easy to open and close but is very secure. I also love the fact that you can make it into a "gated play yard" if you wanted to. Overall this is a must have!!!

Absolutely love this gate!! It’s great for separating large openings!! In fact this gate is larger than I anticipated and I had to fold two panels back! The walk through gate is super easy to open and this is great quality. Easily remove from mounts and use in another space as needed!!

We bought this one after returning one to Fleet Farm that was smaller and more expensive. So far our two terrier pups haven't figured out how to get out:) Once they start jumping and putting their feet on the top, I may run into problems. We use it mostly during feeding time and when they need a time-out..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to make mini play yard for my toddlers, the panels so sturdy and attached very well, easy to assemble or remove, just make sure to loose the plastic joints before pulling apart the gate so they won't break.the gate lock is great, the kids are won't able to open it easily, it's really help me as a mom.

We were totally amazed when we took the product out of the box!! Definitely much bigger than we thought it would be. Our objective: To get a gate around our pellet stove and protect the little one from getting burned. We thought it would cover the pellet stove, but surprised us that it's long enough to go down one side of your living room wall. Not only is the stove protected, so is'nt the electronics. I'm very thrilled about that. Seeming our 1yr old is fascinated with the tv and other equipment. It would'nt be too difficult for him to pull the tv down and get hurt. I'm more than pleased with this gate and highly recommend it. It's very easy to put together. Not much work to it, and very easy to manuever it about to the way you want it. Not only is this a plus for children, but would work for most people with pets. That depends on the size of your pet. My husband had it up and secure within minutes. I did'nt think to time it, but it was no more than 15-20 minutes. I like the way the lock works on it, double protected, and very easy to use. One handed operation. We were happy with our purchase for about 3 weeks until our 22 month old grandson figured out how to open the gate. I don't recommend purchase as it is now useless for keeping him in. I wish I could attach the video I recorded showing him opening it in less than 30 seconds.

I had been looking for a gate to keep my child away from our fireplace, but most I found were almost $200. I found this gate and purchased it right away. I was amazed when I opened the box...it is huge! It has 2 sections, almost like getting 2 gates for the price of one. I used one half for the fireplace and plan to use the other half at the bottom of our stairs! So glad I purchased this instead of the pricey ones. Would purchase this again and again.

I am really happy with this safety gate/playard. Its long enough that it keeps my daughter out of areas of our home where she doesn't need to play (such as our kitchen), and it's really easy for me to fold up & take on trips to use as a playyard. My husband likes that it has a "door" so he doesnt have to step over it like he did the last one i had. The only complaint I had is that the packaging was very bad. The box it was shipped to me in was literally tore up when I received it (very much unsatisfactory!) I'm just glad the gate wasn't damaged.
