Gate is only 14.5ft long, not 16ft (192") as advertised. I had to makeshift an extension to complete the length I thought it was supposed to be! Gate door takes two hands to pull safety latch back while lifting up slide clasp while holding gate (lightweight so not anchored to the floor so the whole thing moves) while also pushing gate door open. HARD TO DO WITH A TODDLER ON MY HIP! Speaking of hips, I'm a size 16w in jeans and have to turn sideways to walk through the gate opening. Slim opening! Whole fence, when anchored to wall, still "rainbows" when pushed by a toddler. It's "slinky" like, even with hinges tightened on each panel. My toddler almost touched the pellet stove!! Had to anchor fencing to floor (which was unnerving) to prevent movement.

Much more sturdy than I had hoped. I am super excited by this and it totally meets my needs! So relieved! It is hard to buy something like this sight unseen, and I am glad that I took the chance on this. Using it for a 10 ft wide room, to block off an indoor pool. Can also move it outside to the yard to use for the toddlers to play. Love it.

This was exactly what we needed! It's huge. We were able to block off both our large mantle/fireplace and our TV/entertainment center that's in the corner of our family room with just one of these bad boys. I didn't even attach it to the walls, and it is sturdy enough for my 10 month old to climb on. Plus it folds up very easily for transport. We love it!

I absolutely love my gate! I moved into a new house that has a sunken living room that is just one step down. My 11 month old was driving me crazy hanging out on the edge of that step all the time. I was so worried she was gong to dive forward onto the tile that is at the bottom of one section, so I decided to get a gate. Everyone I looked at that would fit my 15 foot 6 inch wide opening was well over $200. Then I stumbled upon this one and decided to take a chance even though it was a little too big because I knew I could just return it to the Walmart store. It works even better than I planned, all the sections can bend to create your perfect gate. You can move the door wherever you need it also. It was very easy to put together. I had to use my own screws though because the ones they give you are way too short to secure the gate to the wall right. So happy I found this!

Glad we got it. Gate comes apart. So you can use it in more than one area. We put part of it around the wood burner in the living room. With the the walk thru door, it's easy to get to the wood burner. The other section will be used else where. So this makes me feel safe knowing our little grandson can't get to it.

We had been looking for a "gate" system for our 12 pound dog. Periodically we need to work long hours so we want to keep her in an area where there is tile on the floor. We have used this gate in several spots of the house so far and love it. The doorway in the gate is very easy to operate, the sections of the gate allow you to set-up just about any configuration. If we leave one section of the gate against a wall or behind a sofa table (or something like that), there has been no need to actually connect it to the wall - which is why we like this gate so much - we didn't want to HAVE TO put screws in the wall. My sister's dog came visiting for the holidays and we used this gate to keep her separate from our dog (her dog is a tad mean), and my brother-in-law is coming with his baby daughter this coming weekend, so we are positive we'll find good uses for it then too. Perfect for the job.

I bought this item to use as an outside gate since buying a permanent one cost $1000. I only set it up early spring-late fall when little chance of snow accumulation in New York. It worked great keeping my little dog in the yard yet giving access to leave. The same pens for pets having a dogie door too were more expensive at the time. Only problem is the plastic connections don't hold up well to the elements. I did squeeze 3 years out of it but connection zip ties when the plastic connections broke.

Ok. Rate this item. Great for large dogs keeping them out of a certain areas. We blocked them from the kitchen. When muddy paws come from the back gate blocks them from the new carpet. Can't find many gates that keep large dogs out. This one does. Thanks.

I put this gate up when my daughter was 6 months old and it is still up. She's now 15 months old. We were able to make a separate play area for her away from the dogs and other no touch items in our living room. It was easy to install. My only problem so far is that even after tightening the hinge tops the unit still bends and moves with some toddler force. We have hardwood flooring so this movement has left scratches on the floor. I wished they would have put some rubber or felt protection on the bottoms for those installing on hardwood. If you have a carpeted area you shouldn't have a problem and maybe it won't move as much since you'll have traction. Good product overall and we have this installed just like the picture using it as an open stretched gate attached to two walls. I have not tried this as a gated playpen.

This wide gate and play yard came just in time to span across a damaged chain link fence, that was torn down by lightening and felled tree. The gate was used to keep the damaged part of the fence in tact. to keep our dog from getting out and getting lost in a newly moved in property. It was two weeks before we could get the original fence repaired. We are now using the Regalo super wide gate to span across the deck to enclose the stairs to the basement. The built in door in the gate makes it very convenient to walk through, without opening the end of the gate. It would be excellent if the gate came with a spare set of brackets and latches, because we have to order these parts, if we want to move the gate into a different use or area.
