This gate is much longer than any other gate I could find and many shorter ones were much more expensive. This is well worth the money and actually doesn't look bad as a divider between the kitchen & our living room, leaving our 1 yr. old lab in the dog-proof kitchen. Love being able to open the gate to go back & forth between rooms. Would have been even better if the gate was about a foot wider. Definitely recommend this product!

We had been looking for a "gate" system for our 12 pound dog. Periodically we need to work long hours so we want to keep her in an area where there is tile on the floor. We have used this gate in several spots of the house so far and love it. The doorway in the gate is very easy to operate, the sections of the gate allow you to set-up just about any configuration. If we leave one section of the gate against a wall or behind a sofa table (or something like that), there has been no need to actually connect it to the wall - which is why we like this gate so much - we didn't want to HAVE TO put screws in the wall. My sister's dog came visiting for the holidays and we used this gate to keep her separate from our dog (her dog is a tad mean), and my brother-in-law is coming with his baby daughter this coming weekend, so we are positive we'll find good uses for it then too. Perfect for the job.

For the price, you can’t beat this barrier/gate. My 6th grade daughter home schools and we use it to keep our 1 year old from disturbing her while she is working. I love the walk through gate feature and find it easy to use (even my 3 year old can operate the lock on it). We took out two panels so that it fit our space- it was simple once I figured out that there are two different types of panels and they need to alternate. The screws are shallow so we anchored a strip of wood to the wall and then attached the gate end pieces to those... works like a charm. We also love that it is simple to loosen the joints so that we can collapse the space down when my daughter isn’t doing school work. Overall- it was the perfect choice for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t even tell you how much I love this baby gate!! It is perfect for our growing twins. Who just got mobile. Such a compact one for the baby to play while I cook or want to go to bathroom. I will allow her to play there while I am cooking or else if I feel exhausted I will make her play inside. It's lightweight and easy locking mechanism for opening and closing doors. Easy to install and it folds up pretty compacted of you needed to move it out of the way for awhile. Highly recommended.

I love it. Easy to install. It does what i need it to do. I have a 10mo old that would just crawl all over and this keeps her to the safe side of the room. I have no complaints. It was hard to find something that can be a wall-to-wall gate without all the crazy bulky contraptions. This one is slim, simple & on point!

I am really happy with this safety gate/playard. Its long enough that it keeps my daughter out of areas of our home where she doesn't need to play (such as our kitchen), and it's really easy for me to fold up & take on trips to use as a playyard. My husband likes that it has a "door" so he doesnt have to step over it like he did the last one i had. The only complaint I had is that the packaging was very bad. The box it was shipped to me in was literally tore up when I received it (very much unsatisfactory!) I'm just glad the gate wasn't damaged.

Keeping up with him and keeping him out of places all the time sometimes just can't happen. Absolutely love this. Definitely wish I would have had with my oldest son. I can move it upstairs or downstairs depending the need especially when it gets cooler to put around the fireplace! Would be great if you had animals to keep separate also.

We have had it for three days and it is so far working well. There was only a few things that got in the way that made it difficult to be a perfect fit around our staircase. The door only opens in one direction and we wanted the door to open away from the staircase. This caused the gate to be short on the end we needed it to be long and too long on the other end of the wall. This caused the gate to be somewhat distorted around the staircase vs a perfect rectangular shape. It would be nice if each segmented hinge could be removed so you can shorten the gate or move the door around so it can fit perfectly around the staircase. Even though we have a few issues, I would still buy this product. It works great with keeping my 20 month old son off the staircase.

This wide gate and play yard came just in time to span across a damaged chain link fence, that was torn down by lightening and felled tree. The gate was used to keep the damaged part of the fence in tact. to keep our dog from getting out and getting lost in a newly moved in property. It was two weeks before we could get the original fence repaired. We are now using the Regalo super wide gate to span across the deck to enclose the stairs to the basement. The built in door in the gate makes it very convenient to walk through, without opening the end of the gate. It would be excellent if the gate came with a spare set of brackets and latches, because we have to order these parts, if we want to move the gate into a different use or area.

I’ve used Regalo baby gates in the past and always liked them, easy to set up and use. Not this 4-1…no extra parts included, definitely cannot be configured to your needs easily at all and the gate handle to open and close it is difficult to use. Usually takes to hands to open. Very disappointed in this model and feel it was a waste of money. I need to find a better replacement.
