Love, love, love this thing! With its extra length it is almost wide enough to stretch across the width of my double garage door. I use an extra doggie play pen for the piece not covered. Now I have an indoor-outdoor play area for my dogs when the weather is bad outside. I can also bring it inside to corral puppies or visiting dogs when necessary. It is light enough to carry without strain, too. I fashioned a handle for it using a large dog collar wrapped around the top side when it is closed. Works great.

There is no need to buy that other expensive gate for $175+! This gate is terrific. I ordered it to close off my family room (12ft wide entryway) from a dog that likes to use it as his bathroom. So after I replaced all of my carpet, I needed a gate that would be big enough, look nice enough, and screw into the walls, as well as be user friendly enough for my 2 and 4 year olds to maneuver to get in and out of the room. This gate is perfect! They can both get in and out, and the dog can't get in. It's sturdy, it looks nice (as far as gates go#, and my husband had it up in 10-15 minutes and its keeping out that dog! Don't spend your money on those other expensive gates, this one is great and worth every penny #and then some!)

The gate was very long and I like that fact you can detach any one of them to create multiple gate.s Although it isnt sturdy enough to hold up on its own, i just use something heavy on both side. I used this to fence my dog from going into areas I dont want them to.

Lighter weight than the North State 3-in-1 Metal Superyard if that is important to the buyer but little less quality in the making in my opinion. Little bit of unpainted areas where vertical bars attach to horizontal noticed. I don't remember the gate latch so cannot comment on that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The baby gate is extremely huge I did not expect it to be this big but honestly that's a plus I see so many functions for it in my household, we have 2 fire places and it's big enough to go around either one with plenty of room to keep the children away, around Christmas I will use it to keep the children away from the tree, it has hard wear to connect it to the walls to secure it and has a locking gate to walk through to what ever you may have closed off, it is a good enough size that my mastiff mix wont jump it either .

I bought this product over three months ago and it has been nothing but AMAZING! The product has the ability to be a Play Yard, Gate, Barrier and Fireguard. I have just used this product outside and it works great! The product comes with all hardware required to wall mount the product if used as a gate. I measured the product at 192" inches if spread all the way out. The walk thru door with safety lock is a plus for me... At this price I have not found a metal Play Yard that can even come close to competing. I have recommended this product to all of my friends. Defiantly a FIVE STAR!

I've searched for months for a baby gate to fit such a big gap in our home. This gate is a lifesaver! Very easy to assemble and take down when guest are over. My son is 10months and the only time he goes over to the gate is when we are on the opposite side and not playing with him. The middle does give a lil going back and forth but if that's the only problem I'm lucky! I'm sure if it was on carpet the gate wouldn't move as much, we have ours on wood flooring. If you don't like the idea of it moving on tile or wood flooring, put a carpet runner under it and you'll be set. So thankful a friend sent me this gate information, as I wish it would have popped up after all my long searches on Craigslist, babies r us, target etc.. Go Walmart! Worried about the white gate not matching your dark furniture, so was I, but the white adds a nice touch :)

For the price, you can’t beat this barrier/gate. My 6th grade daughter home schools and we use it to keep our 1 year old from disturbing her while she is working. I love the walk through gate feature and find it easy to use (even my 3 year old can operate the lock on it). We took out two panels so that it fit our space- it was simple once I figured out that there are two different types of panels and they need to alternate. The screws are shallow so we anchored a strip of wood to the wall and then attached the gate end pieces to those... works like a charm. We also love that it is simple to loosen the joints so that we can collapse the space down when my daughter isn’t doing school work. Overall- it was the perfect choice for us.

This is the worst baby gate I have ever used. All of the connectors are made from cheap plastic that are easily broken. We submitted pictures of the defect to the manufacturer of the gate, they sent us replacement connectors made out of the same cheap plastic. If you have kids that attempt to lean on the gate at all thereport is a pretty good chance they will fall with the gate when the connectors break. Luckily I caught my son in time before he got hurt. This product is a complete waste of money and should be considered a danger to kids if used.

My husband and I bought this to fence off our wood stove and were really excited to receive it. However, when we took it out of the box it was already broken! Although the panels seem solid enough in themselves, they are apparently held together by these thin and very flimsy plastic pieces, some of which had been broken in our package. We took it back and probably won't attempt to buy this model again.
