[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I purchased the tempur adapt hybrid medium about a month ago, and oh my goodness, we've never slept better in our lives. I'm trying to figure out why we slept on our old, awful mattress for so long. The medium adapt is the perfect blend between soft and firm. It feels really firm when you plop down on it, but as soon as you lay down, it begins to form ever so slightly around your body. You're basically cradled in this perfect foam cloud, but it's still firm enough to help alleviate any back, neck or shoulder pain! For about three years now, I've had chronic neck and back pain (I'm 33, so still young) that I think was caused from a nonsupportive mattress. Since buying the tempur adapt, my neck and back pain is almost completely gone. This mattress has literally improved my life! I don't hurt all day anymore. If you're on the fence, just try it! We absolutely love it! Oh, and yes, it does seem really firm when you first get it, but after a month, it has broken in nicely and isn't nearly as firm as when we first slept on it. I also followed the suggestion of slowly walking on the mattress upon receiving it to help speed up the break-in process.

One of our objectives in buying a mattress was to avoid partner knowing when I was changing positions. This has been perfect. Matter of irritation. In order to fill out the warrantee information, one has to supply the serial number. In order to do that, you have to strip the bed to find the tag, and then remake the bed. They should warn you ahead of time at the store and/or when they bring the mattress to get the serial number before making the bed.

This is the forth tempurpedic mattress I have bought. It started with my daughter who had serious back pains and after I got her the tempurpedic mattress no more pains in the morning. Of course my other child had to get one along with myself and before you know it four tempurpedic mattresses were bought to ensure when our children come over there is a tempurpedic for them to sleep on. For a great sleep I strongly recomend the tempurpedic mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tempur Adapt Medium mattress is an extremely comfortable memory foam mattress that is cool to the touch and conforms to your body. I noticed improved sleep while using this mattress as well as reduced motion from my partner during movements throughout the night. Initially I was skeptical about a memory foam mattress but the Tempur Adapt has made me a fan. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone looking for a great night's sleep. My only con for the Tempur Adapt Medium is the low profile of the mattress. I'm use to a thicker mattress so I felt like I was too close to the floor. Otherwise, this is a superb mattress.

We have dogs that will sleep with us and would keep us awake when moving around. Now the bed doesn't move when they do which means better sleep. Not to mention how comfortable it is. I love it!

My experience with my incredible mattress is as follows if you don't invest in a good mattress you might as will be sleeping on a wooden plank because Other mattress claim to be were temp mattress just walks the walk Anything else would be uncivilized

We knew it was time to buy a new mattress when you wake up hurting, feel all the bumps and fall into the hole and cant get out from your old old mattress. We began by researching the difference between box springs and foam and hybrid. Then we tested out about a dozen mattresses by laying on them. Tempurpedic was not rated the highest in consumer reports but just like a movie critic you cant believe everything you read or hear until you experience it yourself. Our new mattress was very firm the first month and took some getting used to as it began to soften up and form to our bodies. But while this was all happening and normal we did not experience the pain of waking up anymore nor getting caught in the mattress. We purchased the adjustable bed also. Though we were not looking for adjustable we thought down the road that it would be a good investment and since we may never need another mattress again it is an investment for sure as the price was steep but you get what you pay for. We love the new mattress and sales person was very knowledgeable with all products that he sold.

I wasn't sure when I sat on it at the store. I bought it anyway. Glad I did. I'm 72 years young and it's been a long time since I slept all night. My first night I didn't wake up till 5;00 am (My normal time I get up). It felt great. Thanks Tempurpedic.

We purchased our mattress in December of 2016 and I was excited to try it out. I was hoping that the memory foam would help with my shoulders, low back, etc. My husband didn't have any issues. When we went to the store to check the mattresses out, the salesman made a big deal about us laying down on the mattresses so we could select the one that best fit our needs. Well the Medium firm mattress felt wonderful. And we laid on it for quite a while. We also tried the Soft one and it was very soft and didn't seem to have any support. So after discussing with the salesman, he said that it would probably take 60 days to break in the mattress so that it would be like the one we tried in the store. And if we were not happy with it, we could return it for a different one. Within 30 days, both my husband and I could hardly walk when we got up in the morning. The mattress was so hard. I put a foam pad on it and that helped a little. So we went back to the store to see if we could get a different one. They said we should give it more time and that we should not have added the foam - well they weren't sleeping on the darned thing. They also said we could trade it in for the Soft mattress but it would cost more money. I was really frustrated. The thing already cost us an arm and a leg, I felt we had already paid too much and didn't want to pay more money only to find out the soft one wouldn't work either. They also said that the reason the medium mattress felt so good at the store was because so many people had laid on it, trying it out, so it was broken in really good. So we went home disappointed and feeling like we were ripped off and determined to make the mattress work for us so we didn't have to pay more money to the store. After 90 days, the mattress was still as hard as it had been day 1. So we put the foam pad back on it. It has now been over 2 years and it is still as hard as it was on day 1. And yes, the foam pad is still on there. With the foam pad, we aren't limping out of bed. I firmly believe we were delivered the hard mattress. Lessons learned - (1) it does not help to try out mattress in the store, as they are not what you will receive; (2) don't believe the salesman when he says you can bring it back, there will be a catch; (3) buy a cheaper mattress so you can afford to get another one when the new one doesn't work out. I'm writing this at 1:30 am because I can't sleep, my shoulders are aching from laying on the mattress.
