On the very first night of sleeping on our new Tempurpedic, I slept the whole night through. This has changed everything. I'm no longer tired during the day; instead, I am focused and sharp.

I have nothing but good things to say about this amazing bed. I thought the sales rep was kidding when he said that the bed will put you in deep sleep minutes after laying in it. Boy was he right ! We went from a full size pillow too to a king size temp hybrid. This purchase was a phenomenal investment !

I wake up in the morning and don't ache or hurt! I will say I do toss and turn still but I'm a light sleeper. The way this mattress targets your pressure points is amazing! I'm 30 years old weight 245 lbs and have several back issues. When I'm able to pop right out of bed without cracking or feeling tight is a glorious morning! The mattress is nice, soft and padded just right but not where I sunk into it or planked on it like a board. I don't feel myself sweating at night, which was nice for me as I sweat in the slightest heat. The only downside I see is with being a side sleeper, It takes me longer to get "comfy" if I sleep on my side. So now I usually sleep on my back. Big plus, I don't shake the bed when getting in or out! I'm very satisfied with our purchase.

We thought the pillow-top was just fine but often struggled with back, hip, and shoulder pain as we grew older and routinely lifted our ever-growing toddler. Recently we upgraded from a queen to a king size bed and decided to splurge on a Tempur-Pedic mattress. We will never go back. I used to be awoken by my husband tossing and turning - but not with the Tempur-Pedic! I never ever realized how disrupted my sleep was until I was able to sleep soundly. Also, the back, hip, and shoulder pain I mentioned; markedly decreased. The Tempur-Pedic wraps your body and alleviates the stresses of the day. Now when I travel and have to suffer with a normal hotel mattress, I miss home. We love this mattress so much we are gifting my parents a 3 inch Tempur-Pedic mattress topper for Christmas!

This bed is so comfortable! I've been sleeping on it for about two months now and not once did I wake up with a sore back. It's very supportive. My only negatives: 1) Break in period. The first night I thought for sure this bed would have to go back. It was so hard. Each night got better and after 2-3 weeks it was much softer and like a new bed. 2) It does sleep warm. I'm a warm sleeper anyway so this would be my biggest complaint. I've had to lower my room temp to 60-62F and use a light blanket. Hopefully come summertime this is not a problem.

At first this seemed like an amazing mattress, my wife and I were excited and enjoyed having a "high quality" mattress for the first time in our lives. A few months passed, the trial period went by, and all was well, until, slowly but surely, my wife started to experience chronic pain. This bed has cause my wife to not only have pain every night when she sleeps, but also while she's away from the bed during the day. She now has occipital neuralgia, chronic hip, back, arm, and leg pain. None of which were present before this bed, and all of which have gotten worse the more she sleeps on it. She now has tried countless things to treat the pain, from something as simple as new pillows and a mattress pad, all the way to getting nerve blocks. But it all comes back to the fact that as long as she's sleeping on this bed, nothing will fix the pain. Normally we'd just initiate a return and try another option, no harm no foul, but with the short trial period (other companies offer year long trial periods) tempurpedic said there was nothing they could do (we all know that isn't true). I just reached out again, a few months after my first inquiry, because, again, the pain has just gotten worse, but I'm also again not too hopeful. Unfortunately the amount that these mattresses cost makes it unfeasible for us to get a new mattress, especially since it won't be paid off for another 2.5 years. I'm writing this review to make people aware that the trial period is not nearly long enough to determine if a mattress (that you could spend a decade plus sleeping on) is right for you. And if you go past that trial period tempurpedic will wash their hands of you, no matter what, so you better hope nothing arises.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the top of the line Casper bed before this and it was too soft. TEMPUR-Adapt Medium is their most affordable bed but feels a lot sturdier and the firmness is the right amount for supporting my back (I'm a back sleeper). It still took me a little getting used to for foam as I was on a hybrid before Casper but the transition was much quicker with TEMPURPEDIC. Love and would recommend over the other foam mattress I had.

Very pleased with the mattress when I tested out at a store I knew I had to have it. The big test would be my wife because she was not with me at the time but she loves it too. You know what they say happy wife good night sleep something like that I think. GREAT BED.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded our original Tempur-pedic to a split king with adjustable base. The original mattress was firm and molded to form as we slept. This is a little soft. Still better than a traditional Mattress.
