My wife and I are retired and have bought many beds and we are always disappointed after a short period of time. The disappointment grows as we learn that the new bed is not a solution to our need for a good night's sleep but part of the continuing problem. Our New Tempur-Pedic has been different. We have learned what it feels like to sleep with out pressure points waking you up. To sleep without the movements of the other person waking you up (the bed does not echo movement from the other side). To get to sleep quicker and stay asleep longer. So glad we found Tempur-Pedic. We love it.

I spent 20 years staying in hotels around the world each with a different style or manufacture of their beds. Coming home to relax and sleep in a Tempur -Pedic is as they say "sleeping like a baby"!

Finally found that hard to get balance between support and comfort. I bought directly from Tempurpedic on their website, the customer service is not 5 star like the product, in fact it's not even a 1 star. It's too bad because the product is really great.

I have Ankylosing spondylitis and this medium mattress relieves the pressure points in my back, neck and hips. Perfect amount of firmness as well. I also have the adjustable base, and the zero gravity setting is amazing. I sleep much better as a result.

We ordered the medium hybrid Adapt mattresses based on trying them at a store. After a month we realized for sure that we were used to and wanted a more firm mattress. The exchange process has been a challenge. Through the whole order process and exchange process we were twice charged the wrong amount. The first time has been corrected but not yet the second time. The mattresses themselves are comfortable just not firm enough for us. We had been sleeping on an original Tempur-Pedic mattress that is 14 years old and still good. The folks have been courteous and friendly. Just the process and the charging system needs work so the correct amount goes through the first time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the TEMPUR-Adapt Medium Hybrid mattress for a few weeks now, and it has been a total game changer! I can say the quality of my and my husband's sleep has truly increased. We selected the medium support mattress and have no regrets at all! We absolutely love it! It provides the perfect balance between semi-firm support and plush comfort, which we totally love because it truly combines the best of both worlds. We don't feel like we're laying down on a wooden plank or about to sink into a pile of cotton, the balance is simply amazing. We have also been enjoying the cool to touch technology and now I have actually been able to sleep through most of the night since I'm not tossing and turning due to heat uncomfortability. And last but not least, the pressure relief comfort layer has helped ease so much of the back pain, along with other aches and discomforts that we had been dealing with on a nightly basis. The tightness and aches that I have been experiencing! I'm been dealing with a lot of tightness, especially on my back and around my hips ( I'm 4 months postpartum), and these have definitely improved since I started sleeping on our Tempur-Pedic mattress. We highly recommend getting one and can definitely see ourselves purchasing some of these mattresses for our little ones in the future! Finally found the right mattress for cervical/thoracic/lumbar relief for proper rest that I've been looking for. Not too sinky soft, not to stiffy hard but just the right balance to literally cradle my body to get a restful sleep. Great for post cervical spine surgery. Of course the adjustable smart base does make it all that much better.

The best thing about the TEMPUR-Adapt Medium Hybrid mattress is that my wife doesn't feel anything when I toss and turn. I'm a restless sleeper, and I tend to move around a lot during the night. With our old traditional box spring / mattress set-up, every time I would fidget, she would feel it. Our new TEMPUR-Pedic mattress absorbs my moving around and she gets to continue with her blissful slumber. Also, I'm a tummy sleeper (when I finally settle down), and this mattress was rightly recommended for this type of sleeper. This is our first foam mattress, so I'm still getting used to the way it "hugs" me and the "sinking in." I might have preferred a firmer option, but I'm not willing to give up on this new experience so quickly. Finally, I can only wait till summer to find out whether this is a "hot" mattress. We bought this in Wintertime, so that's my biggest worry right now.

It was just "good" for the first 3 weeks... And after the break-in period I feel it is excellent now! I went through multiple mattress trials (not tempurpedic).. And I had to return them all. This is by far worth the money. I am a customer for life if this holds up over time. I have only had the bed for 5 weeks ..so time will tell! :) My husband has ruptured discs in his back and feels it is firm/supportive enough... And I am a side sleeper that needs enough cushion to sink into without creating pressure points or losing support. We are both really happy with it :)

I had the original 7" mattress when they first came out and I loved them then and I continue to love them now. I did develop some back problems through the years when I didn't have a Tempur-Pedic. Now I'm back and I can feel it getting better night by night. Otherwise it's just a quality of comfort you have to experience.
