Customer reviews for LG 4.3 cu. ft. Top Load Washer with TurboDrum forCANNOT stand the chimes
Unless I'm missing something everything I've read so far says you cannot turn off the chimes on the WT6100CW washer and dryer. For some reason LG thought it would be a good idea to not have a disable sound feature with this washer and dryer... They are very annoyingly loud. Washer is very spacious but it seems like i have to constantly select deep wash in order to completely cover my wash load with water... Other than those two inconveniences the pair have been so far so good. We 'll see how they hold up a year from now.
Thank you for your detailed feedback, we're glad to read the spacious design is working well for you so far! While this model doesn’t have a sound disable option, we’ve shared this feedback with our product team. If you ever have questions or need help optimizing your wash cycles, feel free to reach out via social media @LGUSSupport. ^Jose
Don't waste your money on this
Had this for a couple of years. I clean the tub but it still leaves brown stuff all over my clothes. I have had to throw away many items because of whatever brown stuff gets on clothes. Such a waste of money
Thank you for informing us about the residue on your clothes, this isn’t the experience we want for our customers, and we’d like to get more details so our team can help determine the cause and provide a solution. Please reach us at LGDigitalCare@LG.SprinklrSupport.com with your contact information so we can explore next steps! ^Jose
Loud, shaky and short-lived
We are 4.5 years in with this washer, and overall it has done an okay job doing what all washers do: clean clothes. However, it has always been noisier from excessive vibration than what I would expect from a modern washer (despite professional installation & setup--and repeated balancing adjustments--and the claim of a "true balance anti-vibration system"). The worst part is that it doesn't start most of the time now without repeated reboots because the electronics are going bad--after less than 5 years! We will likely have to replace it. Definitely a disappointment for a brand that has (or had) a good reputation for washers.

Gentle on clothes
I always use the extra water feature because the Regular cycle does not cover the items with water. I do not use softener. Need instructions to empty water in the softener tray, it is always full with water after the wash cycle ends and tray cannot be removed Clothes come our very clean. So far pleased with your LG washer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased an LG Washing Machine. It was my first purchase of an LG product, but I was reassured by my daughter that LG products were of excellent quality. She has had her front loading LG Washing Machine for 20 years, and it is still going strong. I purchased a top loader without an agitator. I love how it weighs the clothes so the water level matches the size of the load. This feature is especially helpful in keeping our water bill under control. It is very attractive, and I love showing it to my friends. Laundry day is more enjoyable now.
Ease of Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using my washer for a while now and it was super easy to hook up and begin using. It has done a great job cleaning my clothes. The machine has been much easier to keep clean than my previous front load washer.
Hi Jen, thank you for sharing your experience with the WT6100CW. It’s great to hear how easy it was to set up and that it’s been delivering such a solid clean. The low‑maintenance design is a nice upgrade from front‑load models, and we’re glad it’s been a smooth fit for your routine. We got our washer yesterday, and I was very disappointed to learn that we cannot totally wash and rinse our clothes in cold water. We put the washer on cold but it switched back to warm during the rinse cycle. As we have to be very careful about how we use our hot water heater, this is an issue for us. It is also not great that we have to reprogram the washer every time we run a cycle. This washer also does not wring out as much water as our last impeller, and I am disappointed with how much water is left on the interior lip. Very disappointed in these features.

Damp items and another issue.
I was looking forward to using this washing machine. What has been happening is my clothes and other items come out damp. I just got the machine 3 days ago. I have read the manual and know about the cycles. I had 4 black pants and I put the cycle on Normal and the pants came out damp. We are not talking about jeans but dress pants. The next day I did my bedding and I put a spring comforter by itself and it was not big but again it came out damp. I put it on the bedding cycle.. I have had another washing machines but my clothes and bedding did not come out damp. I don't want to bad mouth anything I just want a washing machine that works good. Don't forget I got the machine 3 days ago and the company installed it. I also got white streaks on my black pants. I do use a HE detergent and I put 1 tbs spoon of HE detergent in the dispenser. Again there was only 4 black dress pants. I thank you for your time in answering these concerns. If you need pictures I can provide them but I thought you know what I am talking about.
Hey there. We understand that clothes that are still too wet after a wash can slow down the drying process cause you to run more than one drying cycle. Regarding the white streaks on your black pants, this can sometimes happen if there's too much detergent being used, especially if the water isn't hot enough to dissolve it completely. Try using a little less detergent and see if a warmer wash cycle helps. Adding an extra rinse cycle can also help remove any leftover residue. It's also worth checking the washer's drain line filter for any clogs that might be preventing proper draining, as this can sometimes lead to residue on clothes. For the dampness issue with your clothes and bedding, we'd still like to get your washer's model number via private message on social media @LGUSSupport so we can explore potential causes and solutions specific to your machine. We'll be ready to connect with you and help you get the easiest laundry day. ^ Diego
Nosy and terrible
The worse washing machine, doesn’t fit enough clothes and it’s super obnoxious. Once that washing machine is started. It is so loud that it wakes up everyone and interrupts sleep or focus time. I would never buy this again and I would not recommend this to anyone wanting to buy a new washing machine. If you live in an apartment, you would probably get complaints and have a washing machine removed from the property. I truly wish I could give this washing machine zero stars.
We're here for you, Elizabeth! Let's work together to see what we can do to make sure you and your family can get a good night's sleep without interruption from your LG Washer. Typically, noises during the spin cycle can be caused by laundry becoming unbalanced in the drum, foreign objects stuck in the tub, or the washer not being level. We've got a helpful article that should help you troubleshoot the exact cause of the issue here: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-washer-troubleshooting-noises-during-the-cycle--20150712819062. It even includes a helpful video if that's more convenient for you! Noisy
Goes from noisy to quiet ,squeaky sound, this is my first load wish me luck

That squeaky noise may settle as the machine breaks in, but if it continues or worsens, reach us through social media @LGUSSupport for one on one help! ^Jose
