New LG Washer WT6100CW
It just arrived yesterday. The manual could be more specific on options. I used the Bedding/Waterproof option as I was washing bedding, however, nothing waterproof. I do not plan on using that option again and the tub fills to the top and the laundry barely moves even though they only filled the tub 1/2 way before starting the cycle. It took 2 hours to complete. The Normal wash cycle works well. The manual could be more specific in that you DO have an option to change the water temp from the default "warm" to cold by touching the word "cold" while turned on the Normal cycle. It's my 1first impeller washer and I need more time to give a genuine opinion. Modern appliances take a bit more research before making choices on the type of load you will be doing.

Quiet & Roomy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 2 weeks of use, we are very happy with this purchase. It runs well and is very quiet. I don't know if this is a 'problem' but the detergent/softener dispenser does not drain completely when the cycle is over. That is the only "issue". The washer does have ample room and cycles for our use.
CANNOT stand the chimes
Unless I'm missing something everything I've read so far says you cannot turn off the chimes on the WT6100CW washer and dryer. For some reason LG thought it would be a good idea to not have a disable sound feature with this washer and dryer... They are very annoyingly loud. Washer is very spacious but it seems like i have to constantly select deep wash in order to completely cover my wash load with water... Other than those two inconveniences the pair have been so far so good. We 'll see how they hold up a year from now.

Extremely disappointed
Whoever decided that a top loading washer without an agitator was a good idea should be fired. I was talked into this washer by the sales man who said this was a top selling washer and the ‘newest technology’. I don’t think my clothes have been clean a day since I bought this. There’s nothing to agitate the clothes. They just sit in a swamp of its own murky water. There’s nothing to actually create fiction to wash anything that goes in there. Extremely disappointed in this product and would never buy it again. Never mind recommend it to anyone.

Loud, shaky and short-lived
We are 4.5 years in with this washer, and overall it has done an okay job doing what all washers do: clean clothes. However, it has always been noisier from excessive vibration than what I would expect from a modern washer (despite professional installation & setup--and repeated balancing adjustments--and the claim of a "true balance anti-vibration system"). The worst part is that it doesn't start most of the time now without repeated reboots because the electronics are going bad--after less than 5 years! We will likely have to replace it. Definitely a disappointment for a brand that has (or had) a good reputation for washers.

Base Model ZERO Bells and Whistles.
If you need an absolute base model with zero bells and whistles this may be the machine for you. It is the base of base models. There isn't even a way to turn off the sound. Which wakes my family as the time I typically run a load is right after bed time. The Pros: there is NOTHING "SMART"/ WIFI/ AI/ APP about it. It does wash clothes well but this machine is quite a bit smaller than my previous washing machine. I've had this machine for 2 weeks and I hate almost everything about it!
