I have not used this machine yet but wanted to post this warning immediately. For assembly the instructions said you only need a 10mm wrench. WRONG! I also used a T25 torx wrench, 10mm socket with an extension and ratchet and a 13mm wrench. But MORE IMPORTANTLY was an issue with the spark plug hole. I wanted to confirm the spark plug cap. The spark plug was very resistant to removal. The threads in the spark plug hole were not smooth. After confirming the gap was correct, installing the spark plug was unnerving due to the force needed to reset the spark plug. The machining of the threads in the engine is poor. The threads on the spark plug were fine.

I recently purchased this power washer and overall, I'm very happy with it. It delivers strong performance and starts up reliably every time. The setup was a breeze thanks to clear, well-written instructions, and I was up and running in no time. One standout feature is how easily it rolls around the yard—much smoother than my previous unit from another brand. That’s a big plus when you're covering a lot of ground. I did run into one small issue during the initial startup: the yellow pull handle detached from the rope. Fortunately, the rope didn’t retract into the crank assembly, and I was able to reattach the handle without much trouble. Since then, it’s been working flawlessly. If not for that minor hiccup, this would be a solid 5-star product. Still, I’d definitely recommend it!

Purchased this Westinghouse 3400 PSI to replace our Simpson 3100 PSI after 22 years. Our research pointed us to Westinghouse for many reasons that proved true. Solid construction and easy starting top the list. Will report back about reliability in about 20 years.

I purchased this pressure washer due to price, PSI and rated flow rate. There were "better" brands available at higher prices. I put the unit together in about 20 minutes and started my first project (sidewalk). The unit performed well! I'm looking forward to using it again.

I purchased a month ago, but haven’t had time to use it yet, however, assembly couldn’t have been easier. For right now, I’m giving it a 4 star rating because it’s a well built product for the price. I was missing 2 out of the 5 pre-installed rubber grommets that hold the nozzles in place when not in use. Aside from that, if it works as well as it looks, I’ll go ahead and give it a 5 star rating.

Purchased to remove pine sap from vinyl deck. The soap tank and foam tip worked well together. It took a couple of passes, but did a decent job on the sap (I do not think there is anything on earth that will take that stuff off quickly, so this is a very positive result.)

Purchased this pressure washer for washing my 5th wheel trailer, cleaning the driveway, windows and other miscellaneous tasks around the house. I assembled the unit and have tested it on my driveway. Works GREAT!!! One thing… I followed the initial start-up procedures to start the engine - and after the first few pulls was unable to get it started - I depressed the spray gun trigger to release the built up pressure as instructed but it was still hesitant to fire up. I backed off the choke just a tad, gave it a pull and it roared to life. The choke has a sweet-spot. I look forward to putting this WPX3400 to work on more projects in the near future!

Also own a 2200 psi pressure washer. There is no comparison with the cleaning power of this 3400 psi machine and the other. It feels like I have a least double the power for washing my home, stone walkway and driveway. Less expensive than other comparable washers, cranks easily, good mobility, soap container conveniently goes along with you.

Westinghouse Power Washer Model WPX3400 has many great features which include: Spray tool holder keeps nozzle tips from scrapping the ground during moving around, Gas shut off in addition to kill switch, well marked nozzle tips by color and picture making choosing and storing the nozzles very convenient.

I bought the WPX3400 a couple weeks ago, and it has been working reliably without problems. My recommended improvements to the unit would be: 1.install a foot stop to put your left foot on the unit to counter the reaction force when pulling the starter cord. 2. install a protective L shaped bar at the muffler to prevent the spray hose from contacting muffler or getting close to the exhaust gasses, extremely hot and melts the hose when you're not watching the hose move around. 3. add insulation on the bottom of the gas tank or use stainless steel to reduce the heat transfer from the engine, have to wait 5 minutes for the gas tank to cool before filling with gas. Bottom of the tank is too hot to even touch after fuel was expended. 4. use better straps to hold the detergent line to the frame, the plastic rivets pop out, I just used electrical tie straps. 5. chamfer the first thread or use steel not plastic oil plug dip stick, the plastic constantly cross-threads.
