First robotic vacuum, although during Holiday season we did order two others (one other Bobsweep product) which were subsequently returned. Dustin has been fabulous. Easy to set up; self mapping; follows his scheduling program. Perhaps the greatest praise is that we've recommended him to friends and family. If we really needed a second vacuum it would be another Dustin.

I jumped at the sale price for this machine. I had always wondered if a robot vacuum would work in my house. The good news is that the technology is very cool and does indeed work. The bad news is that it is not going to be with this vacuum. It is amazing how it maps and navigates around the house the first time you use it. It pairs easily with your phone and set up is smooth. My concern with robots was that it would get caught on throw rugs and the other items in a house. The videos always show this pristine floor with a huge open plan. that is not my house but the robot does fine, the first time. After the first time, it can't figure out where it is located and shuts down. You should be able to clean a room or a spot, but it can't do it because it throws a location error. I contacted customer service and they responded within 24 hours. The net result was that I have to reset the robot and start all over. No change. After the initial mapping, it can't figure out its location. It makes the convenience of a robot worthless. This is a no go for me, but it's not all bad. It is effective when it vacuums and self emptying is a nice feature. One other bad thing is that it doesn't know when it is full. Kind of defeats the self emptying feature, IMO. Other reviews have said it is loud, but it is no louder than a regular vacuum and is much quieter on low power. The mop feature works pretty well, too, as long as your floors are slightly dirty. It will not replace a thorough cleaning. In conclusion, I consider this a pretty good entry level self emptying robot, at the $200 sale price. It may work for you and the price is good enough to find out. It didn't work for me because of the location issue. Not knowing when it is full is also something to consider. At the full retail price, which it is now listed once again, this is absolutely not worth it. There are much better robots for much less available.

I was so excited to find a vacuum with self-empty and a mop in this price range. However, after using it for about a week, I was not happy with the product. It took 2 times to get my house vacuumed and when I mopped, it left a trail of water. The mop head got soaked so it wasn't drying the floor and when it went over a rug, the mop head folded in half and then did not mop at all. The water reservoir was not large enough to cover my living, dining and kitchen area but it could have been because the water came out heavy in the beginning. Do not recommend.

Purchased in March 24' and I am HAPPY! Dustin is doing everything I tell him to do. His legs don't work well, so I have to carry him to the different levels of the house, but once I put him down, he does the most thorough job. I never have to tell him twice...in fact I don't have to tell him once. I simply give him a little pat on his head and he's off, finding all the little crumbs and dirt I drop on the floor. He does all this without complaint or attitude. I love him and so glad he lives with me now!

Dustin is very quiet but has powerful suction. Mapped my house easily and efficiently. Easy to use and the moping feature and added benefit. Picks up dog hair amazingly well. Just program the schedule and my floor is clean when I get home. The self-emptying feature is AMAZING. I'd recommend Dustin to anybody thinking about it. It's like having a personal maid that cleans for you everyday.

I see all of the good reviews on this vacuum, and I'm really disappointed that I didn't have the same experience. I couldn't get it to connect to wifi, which was probably the biggest issue. I decided to use it without the wifi. It seemed to pick up dirt on the laminate flooring fine on the side of the bot that had the sweeper attachment and did ok on the area rugs, knowing that I will have to go over it with a regular vacuum anyway. It only went back to the dock at the end of the run, which is way too long of a time with the dog hair in the house. Can you set it for how often to go to the dock? Don't know. (Wifi wouldn't connect.) When it did go back to the dock and emptied, I saw when I was packing it back into the box that only minimal dirt was in the bag, and the remaining was left in the bot that I would manually empty after a period of time while it was running. Every time I would have to take off the roller brush and cut the hair off of it after it ran. My previous bot was another brand that would empty every 30 minutes and the dog hair wouldn't tangle in the roller. The customer service got back to me, but I had already taken it to Fedex to return it. Apparently a possible issue may have been something that was not mentioned at all in the directions or trouble shooting. I did return it; I just didn't want to deal with the issues any more.

This is my first "robovac" and I love it. It cleans every nook and cranny and doesn't get stuck on the couple throw rugs I have. It doesn't get stuck anywhere. Thanks to a good friend who highly recommended the Dustin. He had two or three other brand "robovacs", that I remember seeing that got stuck and didn't clean well, before he purchased the Dustin. I was skeptical about it, but I am a believer in the Dustin!

We were very happy to welcome Dustin into our home. He’s been a great little addition to the family and was very easy to house train. We really enjoyed the little announcement card that came with him. Initial startup and setup was super easy. I HATE reading pages of instructions and found the APP very intuitive. The LiDAR mapping is superior. He’s a good boy! Seriously, this is a great product and I am very happy with its performance. The app lets you control the schedule as well as what areas you want vacuumed on a daily basis. I think it’s fairly quiet. It’s a little loud when it returns to its base and empties itself bit it only takes a few seconds to empty to I don’t mind at all.

Quite happy with the purchase of the Dustin. Didn’t expect this quality and so many features given it was on a huge sale (paid around $250 on sale in February). Definitely impressed and have recommended it to my colleagues two of whom have also bought one.

After my grandson nagging me for at least 2yrs, I finally decided it was time. I saw Dustin on Sam’s Club website, then saw the price. Ok, I’ll give it a try. It is so nice to wake in the morning to clean hardwood floors. I Love Dustin! Very user friendly, easy setup to Wi-Fi. Easy download of the app! It did take me a little while to learn Dustin’s behavior (need to pick things up off the floor, cords mostly). I highly recommend Dustin! I had a small issue but Customer Support was top notch! I do run Dustin every day of the week, again very easy to set up his routine. I have programmed Dustin to start cleaning every morning at 9am. I then sit in my chair, with my coffee and watch him do his job! Dustin can go where I cannot easily reach, under the beds, along the baseboards under furniture too! We have a Black and Tan Coonhound that sheds. The first couple of times, Dustin’s collection area was full but, it does self empty. I no longer need to lug my vacuum cleaner around the house…Dustin does it all. It’s like watching the Jetsons cartoons.If only he could pour a glass of wine for me😂😂😂 I have not used the mop feature yet. Overall I highly recommend Dustin for everyday use.
