I DO NOT recommend this product if you have pets. We have 2 dogs, short hair dogs, and this vacuum is constantly getting clogged. I emailed support and their suggestion was to make a schedule for each room that you want cleaned. So now instead of the vacuum being smart enough to know that it needs to empty, I have to spend more time creating schedules so that it dumps more frequently. I just started that new process with the new schedules, this week. I'll post an update after a couple of weeks to see if it works. I would save your money and spend it on a Roomba. I had one for 3 yrs and it worked great until recently. Really you should just get a maid so the house can be cleaned the right way.

I’m sorry to say it but Dustin has been a dud for me. I’m not sure if we got a lemon or not, but the suction is poor, it gets stuck often, and doesn’t run when scheduled. The vacuum pattern is strange and unappealing too. We do not have pets or little kids. We previously owned a shark so we have something to compare it to. I read many reviews before making my choice so this is a disappointment. I’m glad others have had a good experience with Dustin.

He will glide across the floors, sucking up dust and debris, leaving our home spotless. But Bob has a secret passion - he loves to explore. Just assign him a simple program or let him investigate. He will map out his daily route and save it automatically to memory. Bob is not just a cleaning machine; he has become a vital part of our family.

We bought this last summer it was working fine then suddenly, not so fine. I contacted BObsweep and was hooked up with Gabriel who has been amazing. It is so refreshing to have a company representative that has found and holds onto, the lost art of customer service that so many companies gave up the search. I sent it in, got it refurbished sent back and it’s working great and have been contacted by Gabriel to be sure all is well with the repairs on several occasions. Sure wish it was this way, the right way to do businees, with most of the other companies I deal with. Oh yeah the one thing I really wish this had was a “find me” button that would lead us to where ever it ran out of juice or got stuck. Again thanks Gabriel well played sir, well played!

The Dustin Robot vacuum by bObsweep has improved the way clean my floors and carpet in short order since receiving it last week. Having long-hair Siberian Huskies means regular cleaning is mandatory and Dustin has already proven to be effective and reliable. My huskies watch Dustin with curiosity and acceptance as he cleans. I would recommend Dustin to my friends and family.

Likes for MY Dustin: Good suction even after a month. I enjoy having the sweep and mop option. Having quick room clean is a plus. Dislikes: No sensor for low/no water (for the money paid, it definitely should be able to notify me that there's no water, especially if I have the mop option on 🤦🏾‍♀️). Seems loud but thats probably because of the vacuum power selection. Doesn't send notifications to my phone (I have to open the app to see if something is wrong) Not sure if I'm allowed to use cleaning products and there's no literature on it.

I bought this based on great price and good reviews. $200 for a brand new self emptying robot vacuum seemed almost too good to be true! Unfortunately, it was not good at all. The packaging is great and it looks well made, but it's performance is horrible. The app is well laid out, but the mapping is innacurate and the area avoidance function did not work. The vacuum would constantly get stuck on flat low pile carpet and the edge detection didn't work either. The self emptying function is loud enough to wake the dead. I had to return this. I would suggest paying a little more and getting a better model.

Don't get your hope up. The mapping is mid. The mop did not work out of the box. I called the manufacturer, they wanted me to mail in in FIRST, then they would send me a replacement. No thanks. I returned it to Sam's and bought a RoboRock. This company is not going to last. Be warned.

Bought this little vacuum about 1 month ago. Side bush will not stay on and I don't think mop very effective. However, that being said. Dustin starts right on time each morning and is a HUGE help in keeping down the dog and cat hair. I don't have to use the big vacuum as much. Would buy again.

I've been using my BObsweep since October. Our house is all hardwood flooring with area rugs and he's navigated floor to rug transitions with no issue. Not currently using the mopping function but we have it set to vacuum every night at 4am. I have a cat and it does a great job with cat hair/cat litter. I still do my regular vacuuming but I feel like this helps minimize dust and cat hair between regular vacuuming. When the vacuum docks and self empties, it is a little loud (I was definitely startled the first time) but I've never used a similar vacuum so I have no frame of reference if this is standard. We keep our bedroom door closed since he tends to get stuck under our nightstands/bed but that's not really a major issue. This is definitely my little helper and I'm so happy to have him here! He's gotten stuck in a couple other areas of the house during normal cleaning so sometimes I find him in the morning in random places, stranded and alone. I tuck him back into his charging station and let him rest until the next morning! Our home is about 1600 sq ft and with him set to highest vacuum setting, no issues battery-wise. I've had no major issues and we're satisfied with our product!
