Purchased the iGen2500 for the "just in case" day. That day arrived 2 years later. I quickly read the start-up guide, then added the oil and gas. Hesitantly, I pulled on the cord and it started on my 2nd- 3rd pull. I turned it off, put it in my wagon and pulled it through the snow to the powerless house. I carried it up several steps and placed it on the outside porch where it easily started again. Very pleased. I avoid pull-cord tools due to my size and strength...or rather lack of size and strength! I am a 5'1'', 100 pound, senior citizen woman and found the iGen2500 not the scary and complex item I thought I was going to have to handle on an already disastrous day. Thank you.

Got this for my Christmas present. Opened box today. It had the features I expected and quality. The good. It came with small oil, spark plug wrench, funnel, and nice “cheat sheet” to start and maintain engine. Heavy molded plastic seems very durable. All buttons and gadgets in generator where there and indicated nicely. No surprises! Bad. None so far. The side cover was tougher to get off than expected, but I’m sure that will be easier over time. Also the spark plug cable is difficult to pop off, hopefully that will get easier too. I did not care for the ribbed funnel they give, I would have liked a smooth bore. Other all, I was very grateful the product delivered as promised. I had spent many hours researching this product and inverter generators in general. I have not cranked it yet, I want to use “real” gas in it, And I don’t have any right now. Sorry about that.

First impressions were that this igen 2500 is a great lightweight compact generator to be mobile with. I’ve used it a handful of times camping and it’s been great to power up my campers appliances. Can’t speak for long term but as of right now I Would buy again.

Arrived ahead of schedule and in great condition. All accessories that were to come with generator, were in the box. Tomorrow, I plan on put it through it’s paces. I will write an update after I put it through the initial break in period. Completing this review now, they are to send me a generator cover.

Running my camper through a Hughes Power Watchdog for voltage and amp reading. I can adjust my inverter maximum input power to load the generator to specific power outputs. Here are my results at ~ 35ft above see level @ 80F through ~25' of 10/3 SOOW. Running ethanol free 87 octane. - 119V at 17.3 amps genset reads 100% on the display (2058 Watts) - 118V at 18.5 amps genset reads 100% plus the overload light is on (2183 Watts) - As soon as I ramp up to 19 amps the genset disconnects on overload

Purchased for hurricane season, hopefully we don't have to use it much. My husband put the oil in as instructed and added only a little gasoline for a test run. Placed it on choke and with one pull the generator started right up. He then plugged in a drill on an extension cord just to make sure it worked properly.

Purchased in Florida due to our crazy weather at times. My goal is to maintain my fridge and/or a small portable air conditioner if needed. I have watched some horror stories play out and although I have only been without power in the past for about one full day, I want to have some power when needed.

OUT OF BOX, ADDED OIL AND GASOLINE. EASY FIRST PULL IT STARTED. AFTER SHORT WARM UP TURNED EFFICIENCY MODE ON. PLUGGED 30 A POWER CABLE FROM RV TRAILER. WENT INSIDE AND SWITCHED ON A/C. IT STARTED IMMEDIATELY AND CYCLED ON AND OFF AS CALLED FOR. PERFECT FUNCTION IN THAT EFFICIENCY MODE. NEXT DAY STARTED WITH EASY FIRST PULL. CHECKED WHEN A/C WAS RUNNING ON AND 30 FOOT POWER CORD TO RV INSIDE VOLTAGE WAS 119 WITH A/C RUNNING. VOLTS INSIDE WITH LITTLE LOAD ON WAS 121. SO VOLTAGE REGULATION IN RV WAS PERFECT. THE LED FUNCTIONS WERE VERY HANDY. THE iGEN2500 MORE THAN MET MY NEEDS. I'M 82 AND CAN HANDLE THE WEIGHT TO MOVE IT ETC. I RECOMMEND YOU SERIOUSLY LOOK AT HIS UNIT. I DID A LOT OF RESEARCH ON THIS MODEL BEFORE ORDERING ONE.

Just received it. Right out of the box easy to set up and start. Have it running today to make sure all okay before we properly store it away. Quiet, providing power to our utility shed for several hours now. Suggest keeping the oil container so you can easily measure out correct amount of oil when refilling.

Got this for our camper primarily. We also used it at home to test run the refrigerator in case of a power outage. Started right up, worked great. Powered the camper ac, fridge, lights, and water heater at the same time! Super quiet too. Our conversation was louder than the unit. Very happy.
