I am just barely using this now for the first time and Wow does it work/operate well and efficiently.

This generator is very portable and easily starts up. Perfect for a power outage or running power tools where a plug isn't available.

Oil that came with Generator is junk. Use a USA MADE OIL.lookd like veg oil and turns milky. Run 3 minutes and change. Do this as many times as it takes to get rid of metal in oil.

When I received the generator I added the oil and fuel and it started right up Today I was ready to run it for breakin and it won't start. It's been in a sheltered area so it shouldn't have any contamination. Any suggestions?

If you recently purchased this unit and it feels like the fuel cap doesnt fit well or cross threads just call Westinghouse to register your unit and have them send you a new fuel cap. Sounds like they had a bad batch of them.

Purchased Generator 9 Months ago and used a few times with no problems. Ran well and used minimal fuel for the power provided. Stored unit in climate controlled area and waited for the inevitable power outage. The remnants of Hurricane Ian came to town and power was out for 18 hours. I was unable to get generator to run consistently. Problem appears to be within the carburetor and possibly due to poor storage (I did not drain the carburetor bowl as suggested for storage between 2 to 6 months). I used stabilized non-ethanol gas and carburetor clogged after 3 months? this is not a robust design.

I like this little generator. Starts up right away easily and ran for a couple hours just to see it’s continuous operation under the efficiency setting. A gallon of gas will last all day or more in this little thing. Lots of output too. Only downside is the oil fill location is awkward but that only has to be changed infrequently so it’s ok.

I bought the generator a few months ago and luckily have not had to use it yet. It's small and light weight and will hopefully be easy to carry somewhere if needed. The most interesting thing I read was the manufacturer said it would handle up to 10% ethanol, rather than requiring 100% gas.

This genereator has been hard to start.since I bought it. No primier bulbl, so if you let it sit there will be no gas in the carb when you first start it. I have pulled this up to 100 times to get it started. Using ether has been my solution. Now at 11 months it shows an overload light and won't run. I have an exetended warrenty, but they won't service it because it is still under manufacturers 1 year warrenty. Manufacturere sasy they are way behind on answering emails for warrenty and please be patient. I need this generator next weekend, whcih is why I bought the extended warrenty in the first place. So now I will have to buy ANOTHER generator to get by until they get to the warrenty issue resolved! I thought this brand was good, but now I'm not so sure. I have used this about 50 hours and it has failed leaving me no chioce but to buy another.
