These are some of the best generators I have owned, and Westinghouse is a great company to work with. When I had a problem Westinghouse treated me very well, went above and beyond with their warranty. This i2500 generator has so much power ! Everyone should own one. We love it ! Dan C.

I purchased this product after some internet research on generators. The reviews told me this was a great product, the generator was easy to start and use, and the running noise levels were better than the Honda or Yamaha. I started the generator and plugged several power tools into it and it performed as expected.

I bought this product for outdoors activities and power at home in the event of an outage. The day after ingot it, we had a bad wind storm that knocked out power. I was able to power two heaters and lights, which made the wife and kids happy during the power outage!

Unfortunately here in California "Planned Power Outages" during "Wind Events" and "Fire Weather" has become common place. While I have a larger generator at my home, I purchased this one for my daughter and son-in-law who live in a townhome. The size is perfect to fit on their second floor balcony. Plenty of power to run their refrigerator, lights and home electronics plus keep their phones, etc. charged up. The unit is quiet enough so as not to be obtrusive to their neighbors, lite enough to move easily and small enough to store in an out of the way spot. The long run time means they don't have to keep a large amount of gas on hand. Set up was fast and easy with everything you need included in the box. Have only run it for the break in period so far but am impressed with the quick starts and quiet operation. I researched several similar units and the feedback on this generator was very good. The 3 year warranty is also a plus. If you looking for a small, quiet, inverter generator for camping or just for those unexpected/or planned blackouts this is a great choice.

The generator arrived today and I was excited to unbox and test it. Setup was easy and started on the 3rd pull. Ran it for a while to break it in and tested several different loads and it responded beautifully to the different loads. I believe it will serve us well when the power goes out at home or when we take it camping. It is so light weight and portable and sips very little gas! Time will tell but I believe this one is a winner!! Will follow up with another review once i have had it for a while.

Bought this after much review. Lance trailer ac uses 16 amps. This unit has 20 amp capacity, which is why I chose the 2500. Started first pull. The 2500 has digital readout for run time, voltage, remaining fuel level, eco mode, auto shutoff if overloaded with reset. Unit is quiet and only 50 pounds. Owners manual is comprehensive. Unit does not have a fuel shutoff outside of the off/run/choke but does have an easy way to empty carb bowl and drain gas, all included in owners manual.

After researching on portable generators for over 3 months, every brand, I selected the westinghouse igen 2500. I compared weight, fuel consumption, noise level, and portability. Bottom line, this beats all in combination of my requirements. Super buy, super performance, noise levels was surprising once I hit the efficiency button. Used it over a month with small lapses. Running simultaneously refrigerator, lamp, fan and a coffee maker with barely 50% of power. Love it!

Use to recharge battery for trailer, phone, cameras, computer, keeps truck batteries fully charged as it gets colder while up hunting. Gives me back up power for heat, lights, & entertainment for the kids. And when the propane runs out, don't have to run to town for a refill.

Just got it out of the box and gave it a good looking over. A lot of attention appears to have gone into its design and the fit and finish is very good. Prepped it and started it in three pulls. It is much quieter than I expected and a much smaller package considering the power output. Can't wait to put it through it's paces.

Arrived with damaged spark plug and cap.Spark plug was found installed and bent at an angle with damage to the ceramic and the plug cap (boot). This could not have happened in transport. It had to be installed this way. (Poor aim and too much force when tapping the cap onto the plug. The rest of the machine looks great. I will try and get a new plug and cap from Westinghouse. Can't wait to try it out (after I get the parts).
