I use my generator to camp while horseback riding. I prevationally purchased an i 2500 to use while horseback camping, but at the time I did not have a living quarter horse trailer with an AC. Now that I do have the living quarter horse trailer I decided to purchase the IGen4500 C. This generator is packed with so many useful bells and whistles on it that the leading generator used for RVs does not have. I love the power start, and the remote start will keep me from going out in the cold or rain to fire up my generator when I need it. This generator runs as quiet as my 2500 Westinghouse, which is music to your ears when you’re camping and several people are using generators at the same time. The pull handle makes it useful to get it where I need to move it, to get it out of my horse trailer down the ramp and where I plan on running it. The large capacity fuel tank will allow it to run up to 18 hours or more depending on what I have plugged into it at that time. The digital display gives the approximate hours of run time on that tank of fuel, what the current load rate is, and how much fuel remains. I love that it has the 30 amp RV plug on it. The two carry handles on top make it easy enough for a friend and me to carry it together when I have to lift it up. It comes with wheels, so no added expense to buy a wheel kit. It has an automatic choke so we don’t have to worry about choking it before you start it. And best of all it fired up the very first time with one push of the on and off button right out of the box. And I saved about $2000 compared to the leading brand. I hope this review will help you to make up your mind on your next generator purchased as well.

I was looking for a back up power source for my rv. It was packaged well and all parts were in the box. Battery was dead, had to charge it, reason for 4 stars. Installed battery, filled with the supplied oil, and added fuel. Turned it on and it started up. Seems to sound good. Nice quiet inverter for it's size.

I bought this for a quiet generator alternative to a Honda. I am super impressed so far. It started right up after filling the oil and gas. Very quiet, even with the eco mode turned off. I haven't had a load on it yet, but i don't imagine it will get any worse.

I wrote a review a couple days ago had a little trouble getting it started at first, thought it had something to do with having to hold the start button till the green light blinking then taping the start button but that quit working. I ended up finding after all that it was just like other bad reviews the automatic choke was not working, I opened the face and the side panel with the pull start cord on it and found the choke wiring harness was unplugged. I did a lot of research before buying this generator and the only bad reviews were because of this same problem so was kind of expecting it. The other bad reviews go back a couple of years so am surprised they haven’t figured out a fix for this issue yet but a simple fix if slightly mechanically inclined and have a philips screw driver and a 10mm socket. After plugging in harness it starts on the first try every time,

I bought this Generator in September for my travel trailer. I wanted to be sure I had enough power to fully power the 30 amp circuit with no problems. This generator definitely fit the bill. I have taken it on a hunting trip and of the 4 groups I was with this was the only generator that could also power a compressor, We had some flat tires. This generator is also remarkably quiet and long last. You can easily have a conversation standing right next to it. This is an outstanding unit so far.

This is the perfect generator for my 25' travel trailer. The slide out handle makes it super easy to maneuver, and it is still light enough to lift in and out of the pickup truck. It was surprisingly quiet as well. Definitely will recommend this generator to friends and family!

We use ours to power our camper and our car trailer. We had a different one that was not capable of running our camper's AC unit. We have 4 other racers at the track we frequent who all use this model of generator. This generator is definitely quieter than our old one and the remote start is definitely a perk!!

Purchased this for my RV to run A/C and Microwave etc. Set up was easy. Started up right away. Ran initial oil for one hour unloaded then changed. Oil was surprisingly dirty and had metal bits. Ran another hour and changed again. Oil looked better. Ran third under 25% load for 20 min. Oil again somewhat dirty but much less metal bits. Seems to run well, has nice features. My only complaints so far are that the cover edges are too sharp and will cut you if you're not careful. also the fit and finish is somewhat sloppy...covers don't line up great and they rattle when running, and the rubber on top comes off if you brush up against it. Time will tell how it will hold up but I am hopeful. Would recommend so far.

The iGen4500 model is exactly what I was looking for in a portable generator. Camping without full or partial hook-ups have always been a struggle, but not now! This generator will run our air, lights, microwave, and other appliances with ease. Now we can camp at the best locations without having to sacrifice our simple camping pleasures!

purchased this unit back in April of this year and its been a headache to keep unit on. i tried using it for the second time this past weekend and its still doing the same thing. I Filed a claim and sent video. I hope they can correct issues or replace unit. I will update review at later time.
