We bought the igen4500 for our 38’ travel trailer after researching the quietest generators. Great purchase so far. It does everything we need/expect it to do (including run the AC). One of the side panels was cracked upon delivery, but we’ll be contacting Westinghouse for a replacement. No need to remove a star since it likely happened at some point during transit. The generator works great regardless.

Just unboxed it but it looks great. Fill it with oil provided in kit (and funnel), hooked up battery, put gas in it and it fired right up. It sounds about the same as my Yamaha iseb3000 so I'm happy with that. Remote works smooth too. I think its gonna be perfect. We will see this weekend.

I bought this generator to replace the Onen 4K generator in my motor home. I have had to remodel the compartment just a little to make it fit but so far I think it will do the job well. The fuel economy, the quietness and the remote start makes this an excellent choice for camping, RVing or backup power for the home.

Just picked up this 5000c generator to power the ac on a toy hauler. Doing initial run in and limiting the load for the first 5 hours as specified in the manual. Will know tomorrow how successful it is in running the ac. Fairly quiet and no issues yet.

I bought this about a month ago and have used it several times. I had no problem getting it started up the first time, just a couple tries and it fired up. It has started no problem every time since then. Instructions for start up were long but easy to follow. I love the push button and key fob start.

Additional review- Generator is great, runs my fifth wheel without any problem. Love the remote start. Only complaint is that is louder than advertised. They advertise 52db but is closer to 70db when running. That is when it is running on the auto and low power draw. A little louder when the engine rpm’s come up with increased load. Still haven't received my free generator cover though. Generator is still 4 stars but down to 3 stars because of 2 reasons- no cover received and the offer is for a frame generator cover, not the cover for this generator. Seems to me if you are going offer a free product because you purchased something, you would get the appropriate product for what you purchased!!

The generator came in great condition and a day earlier than scheduled. I thought the remote was missing but it was clipped to the pull start cord. I followed the directions for the initial test run and it fired right up. Easy set up. It was actually quieter than I was expecting for being a 4500. I let the generator run for the break in period and it never wavered. This will be a nice upgrade from our “loud” generator when we go camping and for my music entertainment business when in remote locations. Highly recommend.

I bought this unit in April and just got a chance to open it to see how it worked. I was a little disappointed when it would not start. Customer service was helpful and sent a technical bulletin to show me how to get it running. They have a plug that comes undone during shipping. After watching youtube videos I found this is a common problem. I would recommend they put a lockable plug instead of one that will come off during shipping. I was able to fix it but when it is brand new I should not have to take it apart to get it running. other than that so far it seems to work well with the problem fixed.

Love the product, only issue was the automatic choke was not hooked up upon assembly, so had to take three sides off, which seems to be a normal issue that is not being resolved based on issues posted. However, once you watch a couple of videos a 10 minute fix, then it works excellent, so far.

The review sign up did not have a IGEN2500 item in the drop down list so i chose the 4500 which is not what i have. Anyway... I put oil and a little gas in it and pulled 3 times and started up. Ran a little rough at first but to be expected. Plugged in a few things and every thing was working as expected. After a while it smoothed out. Looks like a winner!
