I bought 2 of these generators and one started great and worked fine and the other started but the choke stayed closed. I had to remove the side cover to get at the choke and manually open it. I learned how to do this in a tech service bulletin. I don’t know if the same thing will happen again later. This seems to be an issue in a lot of reviews that I’ve read. One out of two is a really bad initial first impression quality rating.

Had it for awhile never needed it. Then one night in our 5th wheel the park lost power. This baby fired right up and we had power all night and the next day with hardly using any gas. This was in the middle of Texas summer so AC are a must. We love this generator so much now. You never need one until you do. Oh and super quiet.

First glance was a little iffy due to the box being destroyed. I'm sure through shipping. Followed the instructions when i got it home. started right up and it is very quite! I will do the break in process and use it over the weekend and will be back for a follow up review. initial thoughts - cosmetically looks great, very quite and i like the display in the front.

This is the second Westinghouse 4500 inverter generator. We have been using it for our hunting cabin and I purchased the second one for use at my house. These units are very quiet and real gas misers. I have no complaints other than changing oil is hard to access but other than that great unit.

Like the review title says, ran it for 20 minutes first trip out camping. It stopped running unexpectedly and could not get it to start again after many attempts. Pretty disappointed. I guess we will see how they take care of us as far as warranty is concerned.

I have been using this generator for over a month now for weekends up at some property I own. I have a trailer with a 15000 btu AC unit and the generator handles it fine get overwhelmed when I try turning on the other 13000 btu ac unit as well but I knew it wasn't designed to handle both so no fault to the unit there. I did run into one draw back when I left the generator running for a few hours powering the AC unit in my trailer it just stopped working tried restarting started up for a minute then stopped again. I played with it for a while and finally got it running and what I think was the issue was the ground wasn't perfectly level so just a heads up level the generator. Over all I'm happy with my purchase

After months and months of research, my husband decided on the Westinghouse iGen4500 generator. We could not be more excited with how smoothly the generator fired up. We are excited to take it out camping this next week and try out the remote start/stop feature!

I purchased this generator for our 24' travel trailer. I was very impressed with the features has. It has a 30 amp outlet that's perfect for our travel trailer making it a simple connection. The standard 110 outlets and USB outlets allows us to run and charge all our electronics safely. The amount of power this generator supplies is more than enough for our needs and is almost twice the power of other manufacturers at an even lower cost. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I am deeply disappointed that you do not offer a cover as I live in a very dusty dirty environment. I would have chosen it as my bonus item. Please consider making one available and I feel it would be another excellent selling point when customers decide what brand generator to buy.

I was in the market for an inverter/generator and this checked all the boxes. I did tons of research and watched even more video reviews of everything on the market and the iGen4500 was the best fit for me. Followed all the set up procedures and it fired right up and ran like a top. I hope that I get years of service out of this machine coupled with my travel trailer.

First the good: This thing is so quiet you can stand next to it and have a conversation. I put my sound meter next to it and got low 60s decibels, that is about the level of a conversation. Compare to my 6000W monster at mid-70s which you have to shoot over (mid-70s is like sitting in heavy traffic). Push button start, remote start, easy to maneuver with the retractable handle, all good stuff. Haven't plugged the camper into it yet but have no doubt she can handle it and I won't be drowning out the neighbors. So the not-so-good: it arrived damaged. No apparent damage on the box. I was on the lookout for that after seeing other reviews. The damage is to a bracket on one of the side panels that holds the threads for the back panel to screw into. It was completely snapped off. I have a support request into Westinghouse so if that resolves then it is 5-star! The only other "could be better" is if the oil plug was a little farther out so that spilled oil didn't sit in the housing and it might be easier to do an oil change. They do give you a nice funnel to make it work but there is still a little spilling. Super minor
