This review is actually for the igen2500 camo version. We purchased it the week Hurricane Florence hit and boy was it a lifesaver. We ran our lights, 1 ceiling fan, 2 box fans, a full size refrigerator, 60" tv, a 32" tv, two xbox one's and our modem and wireless router, and she purred like a kitten and sipped the gasoline. We ran it for 3 days non stop on about 7 gallons of gasoline. I also have a generac 5500 watt and this one is soooooo much quieter compared to that one. I always wanted one of the small Hondas but this one is just as quiet and works just as good for a fraction of the price. I'm actually thinking about purchasing another one to parallel them together for extra wattage. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This is the first generator that I have ever bought and due to its' high reviews I thought it will work well for me. Setup of the generator was straight forward and easy. I tested the machine for several hours and decided that I would change the oil because "now" is a convenient time for me. I did not want to be tackling it for the first time during a power outage. I found access to the oil change plug very difficult to manage. The opening in the plastic case had a couple of sharp edges and it was a very tight area to get a wrench into and maneuver. It would have been MUCH EASIER if the access panel cover was a little larger on the lower left side. That would allow a socket wrench direct access to the oil plug screw and the process would save much time and scraped knuckles. The machine worked flawlessly even under the load of an electric heater and toaster oven and it was relatively quiet. Overall I am pleased with the generator but I am NOT looking forward to the next oil change.

Bought this inverter generator for my 30 amp TT and oh man let me tell you I was surprised. First off after unboxing it and got it ready with oul and gas it started right up with the remote start, push start and pull start. Then after it was running I plugged my TT into it and went inside started turning everything on that would possibly run on shore power. As I was sitting inside my TT I couldn't even hear it running compared to my other generator. So now when I go dry camping I dont have to listen to my loud generator. Very pleased with my purchase of the product and a great investment.

This generator, made in Vietnam, is well thought out with lots of nice features. Started right up using the remote after turning over maybe 6 times. Ran for 5 hours on 1 gallon of gasoline with loads varying from 0 to 50% of capacity. After that break in run it ran both RV (50 amp service) air conditioners and the electric water heater and indicated 75% of capacity. Comes with a funnel that threads into the dipstick/oil fill port, spark plug wrench and screwdriver. The 10mm drain plug is a little difficult to get at and there is a positive lead (with a red rubber cover) very close that one needs to be cognizant of. A 4” long open end wrench works. The oil drains into a containment area with its own press in rubber drain plug which prevents oil running everywhere. I changed the oil at 5 hours and there were minute metal flakes in it. I’ll change it again at 10 hours to see if there is still metal in the oil. This is the first gasoline or diesel engine I have purchased in decades that has a published break in period. It only runs at the rpm that is required to provide the amp demand so with no load it idles which reduces fuel consumption and overall noise. With the engine running with no load I measured the decibel level at 10’ directly in line with the exhaust with an app on my iPhone and it indicated 67. it doesn’t seem to get much louder with a load but it does increase somewhat. Measuring decibels is very subjective so take that for what it’s worth. It has a very low tone and I can say I can stand within 10’ and carry on a conversation without raising my voice. Only use will prove it’s reliability and durability but so far it seems to be a good machine.

Contrary to some beliefs there is nothing wrong with this generator. Received it 26 June 2021 added oil and gas on the 27th it started right up and purred like a kitten very quiet even when not on Econ mode. Nothing wrong with the electric choke like others have said. Only thing that ticked me off was the side panel on the side where you check the oil received a crack on shipping. Westinghouse shipped me a new one the very next day after i reported it to them. The only issue will be removing the handle bolt holding the side cover on it is extremely tight used an impact and it still will not come loose i told Westinghouse someone tightened it too tight at the factory.This generator is unbelievable quiet have to hear to believe. I tested it with an electric drill on Econ mode no problem also a 500 watt work light the engine did not even speed up and the percentage meter did not even move. It should pull a 15,000 BTU RV air conditioner no problem.

For the price, can not be beat. Have had this for just under a year and been perfect for camping and remote power needs. Remote start is an awesome feature when camping. Have changed oil a few times. Startes up everytime. Ran the 27' camper in dead of summer with A/C set on max for hours. Great fuel capacity. My have gone with the duel fuel looking back on things, but thats on me. Very Happy so far.

Was delivered in a very timely manner in perfect condition. Unpacked the generator, added oil, fuel and connected battery according to directions. I then turned on the fuel, pressed the start button and it fired right up. I let it warm up and then plugged a heat gun into it tried it out, it worked flawlessly. Very pleased, just hope I don't need it this Hurricane season in S.W. FL.

I just bought this and the setup and startup was easy. It started right up. I tested it on our camper and power tools. Ran great with plenty of power. I bought this unit because of the good reviews, price and how quiet it was supposed to be. It was all of that. Can't wait to take it out camping

Just purchased this product for our usage for Farmers Markets and on farm general use. Very good quality , very well packaged, nice quality of manufacturing, and very easy to start . Ran a full size freezer ( lay down ) and a full size side by side refrigerator with doors open to kick on compressors and didn’t even make this hoss bow down. I ran them in ECO mode to see if it would boggle and nothing! Very impressed!!

I bought this a week ago and have only used a couple of times. was able to power a small cabin with lights and fans while charging cordless tool batteries, running a small air compressor and a table saw all at the same time! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the gas gauge hasn't worked on it since I got it and I haven't used it that much. So I guess time will tell if this is a well built machine.
