Very happy with the product, So far so good. I put too much oil in and had to take some out. Otherwise following the instructions was easy and it started right up with one push of the button. I plugged in my big electric drill and lit right up and started drilling using the power from the gas powered iGen4500.

I bought this generator for use on a farm. Lately with some dips in cold temps we have used it to provide power to the chicken coop and it has performed flawlessly. We're getting about 17hrs run time on the unit but with not much load. Easy start, easy operation. Would definitely recommend and purchase again.

I am getting ready to head off into the sunset with my 5th wheel as part of my retirement. I did a lot of research on inverter generators for my 5th wheel and this product fit the bill in terms of the features (e.g., quiet, power to run AC, remote start, reputation, etc.) and cost. Some of the other competitors I evaluated like Cummins, Champion and Honda were comparable, but not in terms of cost and power provided.

Just returned from a camping trip and the iGen4500 did everything that I was hoping that it would do. The remote start was the selling point for me. It was quiet and started right up. It is heavy, but the product description told me that. I am looking forward to many more camping trips!

One thing that is a must is clean power provided by an inverter generator like this. In a house ( or motorhome ) built in the last 30 years they have electronics built into the furnace and hot water heaters. So if you don't want to blow them out you need an inverter type generator like this. This will also let you charge a phone, computer, camera or other electronic items. The generator has more features than others incluning a 30 amp RV type plug, 2 120 plugs , 2 usb plugs, fuel cut off switch, built in circuit breakers, LED DATA center that shows fuel level, power output, hour meter. All out lets and switches have rubber water proof covers and plugs. It even has ECO MODE that changes the rpm as power use goes up and down to save fuel . ! Has wheels. It also comes with the small things you need, 12 v dry cell battery needed for the electric starter, a trickle charger to keep it maintained, oil and funnel, and a great feature is the key FOB to do remote start up to 400 feet away ! I just received the product and proceeded with the minimal assembly. Just plug the battery add oil and gas and start. It started with no issues. The user manual and other instructions are complete and easy to follow. It ran for about one hour and worked flawlessly . I am looking forward to run it under real conditions for several hours.

Perfect for my application, goes with 28 foot travel trailer primarily to run air conditioning. Easy to place on rear folding cargo rack thanks to wheels and extended handle. Extended run time with large fuel tank and pleasantly quiet. Battery start or remote start. Has 30 amp plug which matches RV so no adapter needed. Recommended by a friend, ordered the next day.

When my wife found this one it looked like it has all the features we need. - Attractive compact package - Inverter - easy to transport and move - quiet - plenty of power for our purposes - Seems well built - electric (and remote) start - we're in our 80s

"Plug-n-Play" Making the claim that everything I need to get started, not. There was no engine oil or funnel and this was a factory sealed box. Let's hope it gets better from here, but it is not starting out well. I checked every possible cavity from the oil fill opening, the battery access cavity, and even the engine access cover.

The iGen 4500 inverter generator fits the bill perfectly for my needs. I am 74 yrs old and live in a modest size home. The generator runs very quiet compared to an open frame generator. A feature I'm sure my neighbors will appreciate when running. It provides enough power to run my lights, refrigerator , 8000 BTU window A/C and blower for my gas central air heater which would have been nice to have had during our power blackout here in Texas during that terrible freeze. Now as I mentioned at the start, I'm 74 and my health isn't what it use to be. No longer able to tote around heavy generators anymore. This little guy comes with two wheels in the back and a telescoping handle tucked under the front panel that makes moving it around easy. Another huge plus in my book is the ability to run 15 to 18 hrs on a 3.4 gal tank of gas!
