I BOUGHT IT FOR MY TRAVEL TRAILER. I LIKE THE REMOTE START, THE WHEELS AND HANDEL. IT RUNS 12,500 A/C & MICROWAVE AT THE SAME TIME. IT IS QUIET & I LIKE THE 30 A PLUG. THE AUTO CHOKE DOES NOT WORK! TO START IT YOU HAVE TO TAKE OFF THE SIDE PANEL & WITH A SCREW DRIVER CLOSE THE CHOKE.

I was looking for a quiet generator for my RV that was able to safely run my electronic devices. This fit the bill. The run time is excellant for the size of the generator and it is very quiet. No shortage of power either. I was able to run a 15,000 btu air conditioner and all of the RV electronics to include a residential refrigerater and convection microwave without any problem. I am definitely happy with my purchase so far.

Just bought this a few days ago from a big box home store. I’m giving it 4 stars based on initial inspection and only a few hours of use. If it continues to run like it has been, in six months I’ll upgrade my rating to 5 stars. Unboxing was uneventful, units fit and finish were good, plenty of useful data placarded on the exterior to help guide you through simple procedures. Unit came with 600 ml bottle of oil and a very handy funnel to add or change engine oil. I added the entire contents of the bottle, filled the gas tank and connected the starting battery. Two pushes of the start button had the genny idling smoothly. After an hour of running with a very light load I connected the genny to my rv and ran the air conditioner, a 15k AC. The generator had no problems changing to the higher load and didn’t miss a beat. I checked the remote fob and it operated correctly. At this point the only question I have is that the manual identifies four different displays on the data center but on my generator the data center has five possible displays. I’m assuming the fifth display is total run time. If not I’ve already ordered a digital hour meter that will count run time. If this generator continues to start, run and meet my electrical load demands then I’ll consider this money well spent.

I love everything about this generator, except that after about 5 running hours it started leaking fuel (apparently an issue with the auto-choke?). I'm sure Westinghouse will take care of it, so I'm giving it 4 stars, since I imagine this is not typical for this generator model.

Arrived from the shipping company in very roughed up box. But the shipping materials did their job and the unit was undamaged. Had power outage two days later and ran all my smart devices in my home flawlessly. The unit starts easily and runs quietly and looks like it will be easy to maintain.

Only had one month. Have not used it other than for familiarization of unit ( Starting, Letting it run, Applying electrical loads to it etc.). Right out of the box the LED gas gauge was not working properly. It read half full when completely full and empty when below actual half full. As of now Westinghouse it taking care of issue. It happens. Starts quickly and is as quiet as a Honda.

I recently purchased the iGen 4500 for home use because we tend to lose power several time a year. Today, I started it for the first time - and it was as smooth a silk. The engineering on the machine is quite consumer friendly, especially the telescoping handle -genius ! I did have one question about the initially start-up so I called customer service. My question was answered quickly and with knowledge. Now this is my first impression of the I Gen. I am confident that it will prove true and reliable when I really need it.

I made this purchase after my brother purchased this about two weeks ago. The generator is quiet and handles heavy loads well. The quality of the unit along with the directions and supplied accessories shows the quality of a Westinghouse product.

I was looking through several options when buying a generator. This was the one that convinced us, after several searches online and in stores and reading the reviews this was the best option, great price and excellent features. preparing for any emergency with the best option

Only had this a couple weeks but extremely satisfied with quick delivery as ease of setup. Instructions do say to add entire bottle of oil that is included with the generator. Although I found if you add entire bottle it will slightly overfill it. Runs great and extremely quiet.
