From the time I took it out of the box to running it to keep our coach powereed up for 1 week in Glamis CA it has not failed to provide all the power required for our motorhome. We ran the residential refrigerator, lights, and air conditioner and it handled everything. The wireless remote for starting it in the morning (to get the coffee maker running) without getting out of bed works great! I highly recommend this generator.

A severe thunderstorm blew through our town and this is the second time that we’ve had to use the generator. But this time we’ve had to run on it for several days. Downed power lines and trees, and damaged transformers. It’s really economical on fuel, and super quiet. I mounted it on the front of the camper and bolted it to the A-frame deck. I unspooled the camper electric cord and plugged it into the 30amp outlet and was good to go.

This generator is just as quiet as my Hond@ 3000 was but way more features and more power. To be fair it doesn't have the same quality feel as the Hond@, the Hond@ has a steel enclosure and this one is plastic, but at less than 1/2 the price (less than Hond@ 2000 watt) this has all these EXTRAS: (1) Fuel gauge with remaining run time, (2) Wheels! (3) remote start with auto choke. (4) built in battery maintainer. (5). load meter (6) Higher capacity It's a no brainer!

I just recently purchased the iGen4500 to use with my RV when boon docking. It has the power to run everything in my camper with no issues. Very pleased with the performance and so pleasantly surprised with how quiet it is. When I am inside the RV I can barely hear it. If the A/C is on, I can’t hear the generator at all.

Works great! We are so pleased. We went to a family camping reunion. We go every year to OR and we are always roasting due to the extreme heat! Whew! Well, this July we did our due diligence and went over the reviews and watched YouTube videos re this product. The reviews were overwhelming positive so we went for it. We actually wanted the dual fuel! but couldn’t find one anywhere! We knew that that would have benefited our purpose much better. But the quiet?? Amazing. We were the envy of all the other campers! Ha.

I have only used it a few times so I don't have extensive experience, but it seems to work quite well - so 4 stars, will give 5 if continues like this... a bit louder than I thought it would be, although if under the back porch with door closed you don't notice it too much. The panel showing performance parameters is helpful. I bought a 3-way splitter short extension cord / adapter for the RV plug to make a total of 5 three-pronged house outlets. The manual says to be careful when first filling the oil and this is correct! you only need to put in about 2/3 to 3/4 of the supplied oil at first, I overfilled initially and then drained it out to remove enough to get back to medium/high on the dipstick. Others have mentioned starting and choke problems with this generator but I did not notice this. It's chilly early winter here, 30s and 40s F., and maybe that makes a difference. But from other reviews it seems there may be some sporadic quality issues with particular models. The wheels are very helpful since this is quite a heavy generator.

Deliver was very quick and easy to connect battery, fill with oil. Took the generator on a weekend camping trip and ran for 22 hours with no issues. Electric start is great and remote start FOB is a plus! Ran everything on the 30 amp service for the weekend and only burned approximately 2 gallons of fuel. Very happy with this purchase and recommend for RV campers!

I had been wanting a generator for my camper for a while now but never pulled the trigger. However we had a planned power outage at our business so needed power for the fridge, register and a few lights. Set-up was easy, the remote is great! It ran everything I needed during the outage with ease. I might have nerded out turning things off and on while watching the display. My only complaint is the access cover for the oil fill and drain is to small. There was more residual oil from factory test than I thought there would be and I had to drain some out. The drain plug was very difficult to get to. Overall, I’m pleased. Can’t wait to use it camping.

There is a known problem and I had read about it so I was aware of it with the choke. Sure enough when it arrived and I put the battery and oil in then tried to start it. It would not start!! After I took the sides off and put the wire clip back on it fired right up and runs great!!

Unit came with automatic choke issues, as detailed in previous reviews. Mine was no exception. I have a lifetime of small engine repair experience. After tearing unit down was able to identify the poor connection on starter module. Works fine now. Would be an issue if new owner was expecting unit to start and run without two hours of shop time invested. Zip tied wire to avoid strain on connection, connected to starter module, and applied a drop of hot glue to connection retention clip to secured during any vibration. Looking forward to many years of service. Plugged in my 26' TT, ran AC and all appliances, generator did it's job. Thanks.
