Just ordered yesterday 08/29/2019 with a pending storm here in Florida, received today, Friday 08/30/2019 great service - generator arrived in good shape - hooked up the battery, filled oil and some gas and it started right up - remote start is a great feature and will be great for our camper - we are in love so far....... I just purchased the I gen-4500 after extensive searching for a generator for my older trailer. I had a generator that was a gift from my son. Even with 3300 starting watts, it would not run the AC by itself at all, and struggled with just the microwave if it was powering the fridge. And the noise of the motor straining was loud even being enclosed! Enough about the old!!!!!!! The I gen-4500 is exactly what I needed!!! Runs my AC, the fridge, and the microwave, all at the same time, with low low engine speed and sound. I went for power, and sound but it has so many extra features, a 30 amp plug, remote starting, slide out handle tucked away on the bottom, well balanced and smaller size, makes it easier to lift. A little heavier, but with good placement of handles, I feel very confident lifting in restricted areas. Easy initial instructions and setup, 2 pull start up and with no choke, very nice and quiet. I definitely recommend to give this baby a good look. Can't have enough power and with this size, you can't go wrong.

I just purchased the Generator. I've performed the 5 hour break in period as described in the owners manual. So far everything is operating as expected and I am happy with my purchase. The only draw back is the tight access location of the oil drain plug. It could be better positioned for easier access to change the oil.

I purchased this generator as a backup power supply for key circuits in my house during power failures, I purchased an inverter generator because I plan to run my computer and my home entertainment center and wanted clean power (Total Harmonic Distortion less than 3%) but also enough power output to run the refrigerator and 110 volt well pump. I've had the unit long enough to run it through its break-in period and check out the basic features. I like the way the exterior of the unit is sound proofed. It is quieter than my previous generator which had a smaller power output but no sound proofing. I appreciated the way the folks at Westinghouse thought through things. I read reviews that complained about adding/changing the oil, but was pleased that rather than make the customer come up with some sort of workaround, they included what was needed, like an oil filler tube. I also appreciate the pull-out handle and the design of the wheels - with the handle, moving the unit is really no more trouble than wheeling a heavy suitcase. The front panel display is well laid-out and everything's labeled nicely. The Digital data center is especially helpful. I've tried all three methods of starting the unit and it starts easily, even with the recoil pull handle. The key fob starter is a major upgrade for me, and I love the idea of having things set up (say during an ice storm) and only having to flip the power switch on my main panel and hit the key fob to be up and running. Fueling is also set up nicely, there's a fuel filter in the neck of the tank, and a well thought out trough surrounding the filler neck to direct spilled fuel off of the unit.

I just received this generator. Switched from a competing brand. So far I like the features this generator has over my previous one. The slide out handle, remote start and digital display are definite upgrades. We will see how it runs during the cold MN winter. Will wait on my final opinion until then.

I need a big generator for my race car trailer. This unit started right up, out of the box. I couldn't run it again for another month and it started right up. Runs Great! Unit is as quiet as advertised. If everyone had one the pits would be so much quieter! The handle makes it easy to roll around. I like the digital display. The remote start works as it should. More than enough outlets for what I need.

This unit is so quiet. It runs well.I am very glad I got this. Easy to pull start until the pull cord gets caught, then challenging. Need replacement kit. The battery start doesn't work often. It is a minor issue for me, but would be nice for the remote start to work.

I bought this a week ago and have only used a couple of times. was able to power a small cabin with lights and fans while charging cordless tool batteries, running a small air compressor and a table saw all at the same time! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the gas gauge hasn't worked on it since I got it and I haven't used it that much. So I guess time will tell if this is a well built machine.

Bought this after looking at several other generators. I felt like it offered the most value for the money. Runs my whole camper. Comes with 30 amp rv plug ready to go plus it has electric start. Looks and feels very well made. So far I am very pleased.

Just bought this generator and broke it in. Generator wouldn't start and had to manually choke the engine. The electronic choke didn't work. I downloaded the service bulletin regarding this issue and found a disconnected wire. The wire was connected and the generator starts up as designed. I broke-in the generator without and with a load changing the oil between each cycle. Glad I did. The oil was dirty after the first few break-in cycles. This generator is used for a 5th wheel trailer. Appears to work great for what I use it for. This unit replaced two older Honda 2000s.
