Had read all the reviews and noticed the issues with initial start-up. I was a little disappointed that the issue has not been resolved. I called support and they sent me the bulletin to deal with the problem. Problem solved after losing a little skin off my hands. Looking forward to using this unit.

Received before expected date. Easy set up out of box. Had none of the problems that I have read about. Have only ran it a couple hours but ran refer off 120v turned on A/C and ran 900 watt micro wave and generator preformed flawlessly. Extremely happy at this time.

Got the IGEN4500 yesterday. I have not started it yet. Everything else seems to be ok. Battery was not where it was supposed to be had to move it in potion. Side panel had a little damage one of the screws broken off on the backside of the side panel. I glued it back on and it held. Cant wait to see how it operates with our camper.

Received new generator with noticeable rust at fuel tank neck. Immediately contacted Westinghouse who ensured me this is normal. Ran generator to make sure every thing worked (using sta-bil added fuel). Tested generator 2 month later to make sure every thing worked fine before storm season but generator would not maintain power and kept turning off. Checked online and found service bulletin with instruction on manual fix by opening the cover and manually adjusting choke. So assumed this was known issue and dropped off at local service center. I am told the carburetor was gummed/dirty and this would not be covered under warranty. Called up Westinghouse and service rep politely read instructions: for "2 month storage the float bowl has to be emptied of fuel". Not having emptied the fuel from the float bowl broke the generator in 2 month. Hard to believe that if I had turned on the generator few days earlier, the generator would had work. The fact that there is a service bulletin that was created to temporary fix this exact problem actually exists suggests there is a model wide quality issue. Also Westinghouse claiming rusted fuel tank is normal also suggests this model is cheaply made. Can not recommend for first time generator users. I suspect the rust and carburetor issues are tied. Also, this generator requires lots of maintenance that must be followed accurately. Being 1 day late will break unit.

I bought this in may of 2023 to use with our camper. Last trip it suddenly shut off. Checked fuel, has fuel, air filter clean, changed spark plug, it cranks over but won’t fire up. Trying to go through warranty process now so who knows how long this will take.

I was worried after the many reviews, but this is a great generator. After the breaking process, I took this to my hunting camp. For 48 hours this little giant was a power horse. -Very quiet -Fuel consumption - one fuel tank lasted 21 hours with heater, microwave, and trailer usage. -Easy to transport ( I could load this in my truck be myself unlike my old one) I did install an hours meter on before using the machine.

Although it was larger than what I really needed it's always better to have more than not enough when you really need it. Cleanly powers all of my items while in Eco mode. Unboxing and setup was a breeze with everything needed in the box. Simply followed the quick start instructions and it fired up and ran beautifully on the first try. I would recommend this to anyone looking for fairly easy transport and ample campsite electric power.

I bought this to use as both a track and home generator (for a few necessary things when power goes out) and figured 4500 max watts would be sufficient. Unboxing was easy and it was nice that it included a funnel and oil. It was easy to start but my main gripes are that the idle is inconsistent (it surges almost constantly, even with there is no load and nothing plugged in), the display doesn't always show an accurate figure (sometimes shows 0 load/output but items are plugged in and running), and it doesn't seem to be able to handle startup of many things that it should be able to (~1500 watt startup overloads the generator).

Bought this to use with our camper and it has exceeded in our expectations. We specifically looked for a quiet generator with a remote that would run our AC in the high Colorado mountains and it did great right out of the box. We will be recommending this to anyone and everyone!

We bought this great little generator specifically to handle the 15k BTU air conditioner for travel trailer. 3k watts is to small to run air and a few other items and 7k watts is over kill and paying for power you really don't need so it fits perfectly in the middle. We can run the A/C, microwave, TV and every light at the same time with no problems. Love the remote start that you pay extra for on other models. It is very quiet and so far have had no issues with our purchase.
