We received our generator, and went through the setup process. I was surprised at how easy it was to start the generator using the manual pull start, the electronic start and the remote start. No regrets on this purchase. Super quiet. I was standing right next to the generator having a conversation with a friend who is hard of hearing with no problem.

I bought this generator specifically to run my sump and refrigerators during power outages. So far it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The design is super sleek, the feature such as remote start are top notch, and the unit is very quiet. Highly recommended.

Bought this unit to run our trailer and it worked perfectly for our requirements. Unit is so quiet we were standing next to it and was talking normally without raising our voices. Nice to know if we need more power we can purchase another unit and parallel connect for that requirement.

Just bought this after being left in the dark for 4 nights during a storm. We live in a townhouse and needed a quieter generator and this one is perfect! Has great features and easy setup out of the box. Stores nicely in our garage. Highly recommend.

We bought this after looking at reports and reviews on a site. Bought this one mainly because it had the highest power rating and the lowest noise rating (52dba). While it is pretty quite, 52 dba is not as quite as I thought, but still, we could not hear it running from inside the house or on the other side of the house. We only plan to run this in a power outage, so I doubt anyone would complain during that time. I tested a bunch of stuff running at the same time: Refrigerator, sander, shop vac, and some lights. No problems with this load. The eco mode is nice. makes it run a little more quietly. We intend to use this to charge a couple of big batteries during a power outage. Those will be swapped back and forth for inside use. That way, we only need to run the generator long enough to charge a battery.

Just received my iGen from Estes Freight delivery, Slight damage to packing box but no apparent damage to product. Ground snow covered so I can't do a test run. One option does not work as anticipated. I planned to use remote start in morning while camping and stay out of cool weather, however user guide says not to start gen with anything plugged in. If I have to go out side to unplug I may s well just use starter on the generator. Will post operation review when ground dries up.

I purchased the generator for my RV. I have used this on my last two camping trips (1week trip and a 4 day trip.Ran great right out of the box. Its main use was to run the AC (90f +all week) I did try loading it with my AC/Microwave/ water heater and lights at the same time Ran all with no issues. Remote start was something i did not care about until i used it. when the camper starting getting hot inside i just reach over and hit remote start button never having to go out side to manual start. I was quieter then I expected. Overall I would recommend this based, Price features and performance.

Connected this through an interlock kit into the whole house. Runs everything. Although needed to grab some power from the regular outlets to capture the whole 4500 peak. I run the refrigerator off of that set of outlets and the RV plug goes into the power panel. I created my own cable to split the single hot lead into two that go to both hots in a L14-30 then to a double 30 amp breaker which then powers both legs of the panel. You can't get 240 of course, but you can use all 120 circuits that way. Get an interlock kit or use a cutover panel; only safe way to ensure you don't energize the main utility grid and kill a lineman.

I purchased this particular Inverter generator because of how much power it produces vs cost. It's much cheaper then the Honda's of the world (not saying they are bad just out of my budget. For now). So far it's seems like it will do exactly what I need which is to power my house (minus the 220 loads) items that I will need during a power outage. The newest model does have an hour meter in the digital display. I don't care that the 30 amp plug is upside down or not. Just use a bungee cord or coat hanger around the handle to relieve cord strain and this will keep it plugged in nice and tight. Only have had it a few weeks so can't comment on durability but I bought it for the price and the electric start (other family members come to my house during a hurricane so this allows them to start it) so time will tell

Couldn't be more excited and happy with my purchase! Great product and quiet as can be! Remote works quite aways away from the unit which is super helpful when you have kids and don't want to leave the fire every time they want to make a snack or use the TV in the trailer!
