The generator arrived on schedule and started right away after we unpacked it and filled fluids. There was some oil in the oil pan indicating it had been tested. The generator is very quiet and starts easily with either the pull or the self starter. The remote starter is great, since we can turn it on or off from inside the RV. It is an attractive unit and transports easily either on the wheels or by the convenient handle. There is a gas diverter built into it, where if you spill gas, it channels the fuel out and over the side, where it doesn't make a mess on the top of the generator. The power is sufficient to run the A/C units and all other power requirements of our single unit A/C. At 4500 peak Watts and 3700 Running, I believe it might be sufficient to run 2 A/Cs. It also has a USB charging port. I'm very happy with this unit.

Bought a few weeks ago, quick shipping and secure packaging. Seems to run as expected... after several tests only 2 complaints, oil capacity .60 Qts but what was included was .63 Qts, if not careful reservoir will overflow and overflow is difficult to clean up resulting in dripping oil from bottom of generator. Other thing I have noticed is although the Watts meter will indicate to the running watts it does not react fast enough to indicate what your surge watts might be, that would be nice to know.

I purchased 2 of these generators about a month ago and waited till today to "fire them up". Directions were super simple (this is my 1st time using this type of portable power). I am bringing my travel trailer home next Saturday and will see get a live test as I also have on order the Westinghouse Parallel Power Cord. I was very pleased with the smooth sound too. Of course the real test will be when I use them for boon docking.

I just received my new iGen4500. Read the manual, filled it with oil and fuel, hooked up the battery and it immediately fired up using the remote control. I couldn't be happier. Generator came very well protected and there was no damage in transit. Operation manual is clear and easy to understand. My primary use will be to power my travel trailer while it is in the woods at my hunting camp. The generator is almost quiet enough to be unnoticeable. I really like the digital information display. It shows the amount of fuel left, the run time left as well as the voltage and the running time. A very sweet machine.

Just received this unit, filled with oil, fuel and hooked up the battery. It started and would not hardly idle at all. Called customer support and told them what the issue was and they told me right off. These have a choke on the carburetor that is not mentioned and you have to pull the side cover to access it. She was a big help. Whoever the engineer was that came up with that on should get a 1 star rating. Other than that I’m perfectly happy with the unit. According to tech support they are aware of the issue and are currently working on a fix..

The generator worked great for less than an hour, then it would shut down. This occurred several times, and we called customer service. As is typical nowadays, it took several days to get a response. On the plus side, when we finally were directed to a certified repair shop, the service was quick, the problem was diagnosed as a manufacturing defect, and a replacement generator was sent immediately. We have yet to use the replacement, but are hopeful it works well.

I waited until I used this generator to write this review. Getting the generator operational was very straight forward as the instructions in the owners manual are well written and easy to follow. We used the generator to run the air conditioner on our RV this past weekend. The generator noise was not a factor as we slept in the RV. The remote start is a great feature. We are satisfied customers.

My husband and I just bought a 30-foot travel trailer for spending time on our land in Central Texas. The iGen4500 was the perfect complement to power the air conditioner and appliances while charging the battery. It starts reliably, has a nice array of electrical outlets, gives good operational information on the control display AND is so quiet. The remote start allows starting the generator from inside the trailer for brewing a pot of coffee and heating up a pastry in the microwave without having to traipse outside in the early morning. We are extremely pleased.

I bought this generator specifically to run the ac unit on my travel trailer. So far it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The design is super sleek, the feature such as remote start are top notch, and the unit is very quiet even when running the ac unit. So far it has been the perfect purchase

Just purchased my second IGen4500 after how good the first has done. Unboxed the first one and immediately took it hunting to run my trailer. Fired up great and ran in 15-20 degree weather with no problems all week. Fuel consumption is awesome with eco setting. Generator is very quiet and even when it is 3 am. Can’t wait to parallel these.
