I received the generator on 6/26 and used 100% synthetic oil instead of he oil received with the unit. With the cost of the unit, why put in a cheaper oil. I ended up doing a 6 hr. break-in and varied the wattage from 22-1,643 with many changes over the time period. The digital data center is very handy for tracking the various outputs of the generator. I had no problems during the break-in process. In fact everything went smoothly as one would expect. I am only running ethanol free gas in it and it will be drained of fuel until we have the potential of a hurricane coming our way. I live in Florida and had a Honda 2000 for back-up, for the last 2 years, but never needed it as the hurricanes skirted us with only some higher winds and some rain. I bought this generator because I wanted to make sure I had the power to run the refer/freezer, microwave, TV, internet, lighting and various small items.

Bought this to run my toyhauler on extended trips and since opening the box has ran flawlessly. Great run time and plenty of power to run a 15kbtu AC and much more. Would definitely buy another if for some reason I ever needed to parallel them together for more power. Best bang for your buck generator in this category for sure!

This unit is a warranty replacement for one I bought in July 2021. Out of the box, the autochoke did not work. fortunately I found a video on YT that showed me how to fix it in about 10 minutes. Unit ran well and met my power needs for my 5th wheel trailer. Unfortunately, the inverter failed after about 125 hours. Warranty service is a hassle. WH's tech support line is not supportive. Finally took my unit to an Authorized Service Center and it took them several weeks to get a replacement authorized. After that WH shipped the replacement in a few days. Unfortunately the autochoke doesn't work on the replacement and the YT video doesn't seem to apply. Back to the tech support grind!

Bought it about a week ago, have been through the break in and put under load. So far it has been great and handles everything in the travel trailer with ease. Just add oil that is supplies and its ready for you to start using. The remote start is a pretty handy feature and if battery is low or dies there is a pull start for back up. So far so good. Would recommend.

Delivery was fast and careful!! Crated for safe shipping! Includes everything one needs to fire it up (except the gasoline, of course). Clear and straightforward instructions - we are currently having our electrician install our transfer switch. Easy to move around, easy to read controls. Push button start is totally great!! We've had a few outages so far this year, and we are now ready for the next one!!

I have owned other generators that worked fine for their intended use. They did not have remote start and one was extremely loud. I have purchased a larger fifth wheel RV & needed a inverter generator that has sufficient wattage to run the air conditioner and other electrical appliances. Two of my friends have the Westinghouse iGen 5000C inverter generators, which are quiet and able to supply the required wattage to run everything in their trailers. These features plus the remote start, the reliability of these inverter generators and Westinghouse quality convinced me to make this purchase with confidence that I made the correct choice.

I purchased the iGen 4500 the beginning of April, it arrived on time as stated. I have tested the iGen on my 50 amp travel trailer and preforms great. I will operate 1 A/C at a time (travel trailer has 2 A/C systems) along with other small appliances. The noise level is low and increases as a heavy load is added, however, I was able to have a conversion standing about 4 to 5 feet away without raising my voice. Very happy so far. My recommendation is if you have a RV get this unit you won't be disappointment.

Exactly what you'd expect, open the box put your fluids in and go on your way. Even though the manual doesn't state anything of a break in period, running through that now. Electric start is really nice to have for something like this, can keep it in the back of the truck and turn it on and off from the camper.

This replaces another brand 6500 watt low thd generator. This inverter is so much quieter and provides all the power I need to run the whole house necessities like the gas furnace and water heater the refrigerator and the freezer with enough left over to watch a lcd tv and a couple of lights.

Purchased this generator a few weeks ago. It was easy to get running out of the box and fired up right away. I finally had the chance to hook it up to my camper, and it ran everything great. Plenty of power to run my A/C unit, microwave and TV at the same time. The nice thing about this generator is the built in 30amp plug in for your camper, along with the electric start and remote start. I was able to start up the generator with the remote start from inside my camper, which is a nice feature to have. Also, for its size (4500Watt) its a light generator (98lbs) which makes it convenient to load and unload in the back of my truck. Glad I purchased this generator and would recommend it to others.
