I just unpack this igen4500. it was missing the battery cover. I email for a replacement. we will see. I have a honda eu3000 and needed more power, the honda is a little quieter, but much heavier and twice the cost. and its hard to compare to a honda as for reliability considering I have not used it yet. i love the remote start and the auto choke.

When I received my IGen4500 off of the delivery truck, it took me 20 minutes from the time I opened the box to starting the generator. The instructions that came with the generator were very clear. I now have 12 hours on the generator with no issues. It runs my entire travel trailer.

Purchased a iGen4500 recently after reading many reviews. It was the best price for the features that I need. Runs very quiet and efficient and runs my fifth wheel camper without any hesitation. Just in time for hurricane season too. Now we can camp wherever we want in comfort.

This Inverter Gererator took 20 days to be delivered due to its high demand. Well worth the wait. Very quiet and enough power to keep my house functioning in an emergency. The controls are very clear and the well thought out and the remote start is a bonus.

This is my first generator and will be my only. I reviewed for 3 months on which one to purchase and this met all my needs. I did sacrifice ease of portability as this model is heavy but thats just means I need to stay in shape. Thansk Westinghouse for a great product.

I bought this unit about 1 year ago and I've used it around 6 times. Not once has it let me down or even hicupped. The power is great. It runs my entire Rv travel trailer with a 30 amp a/c unit all day and night and I still have 5 hours left on it when I wake in the am. Super fuel efficient and quite. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Contrary to some beliefs there is nothing wrong with this generator. Received it 26 June 2021 added oil and gas on the 27th it started right up and purred like a kitten very quiet even when not on Econ mode. Nothing wrong with the electric choke like others have said. Only thing that ticked me off was the side panel on the side where you check the oil received a crack on shipping. Westinghouse shipped me a new one the very next day after i reported it to them. The only issue will be removing the handle bolt holding the side cover on it is extremely tight used an impact and it still will not come loose i told Westinghouse someone tightened it too tight at the factory.This generator is unbelievable quiet have to hear to believe. I tested it with an electric drill on Econ mode no problem also a 500 watt work light the engine did not even speed up and the percentage meter did not even move. It should pull a 15,000 BTU RV air conditioner no problem.

It's only been running for 3 hours but I'm satisfied. Solidly built. Good operating instruction manual. Easy to start. Very quiet can stand right next to it and hold a conversation with someone. Little vibration. However, the remote start doesn't work, but the remote stop does. My RV has a built in, 50 amp power monitor system (PMS) that shuts power off if an incoming electrical problem is detected. PMS won't allow the RV to power up when connected to the iGen4500; it says there's no ground detected. Westinghouse Service Tech is looking into this issue for me. If they can't figure this out I'll be returning the generator. The generator produces +63 volts on the hot leg of a 120 volt outlet and -63 on the low side of the outlet, so 120 is measured between the two plug pins.

Received before expected date. Easy set up out of box. Had none of the problems that I have read about. Have only ran it a couple hours but ran refer off 120v turned on A/C and ran 900 watt micro wave and generator preformed flawlessly. Extremely happy at this time.

purchased this unit back in April of this year and its been a headache to keep unit on. i tried using it for the second time this past weekend and its still doing the same thing. I Filed a claim and sent video. I hope they can correct issues or replace unit. I will update review at later time.
