I own a Westinghouse 7500E so when I needed a small inverter generator for my camper I naturally turned to Westinghouse iGen2500. its light, quiet and powerful. it keeps me warm, entertained with my TV and all my electronics charged. Westinghouse makes quality products.

I haven’t actually used it yet but got it ready and tested it prior to our cold winters. It seems to run and start just fine but the fact that it comes with a remote start FOB puzzles me. You still have to go out to the machine to turn the switch on or you will drain your battery. When you turn on the on switch it lights up which will drop power from the battery constantly as long as it is turned on where the battery dies. The instructions also say not to have anything plugged in to the generator when you start it so that’s another thing you have to be at the machine for. Use caution when putting the engine oil in. The bottle says .64 quarts but mine did not take the whole bottle.

love this generator with all the features. packing was really great Wife loves the remote and after reading other reviews of people having different issues with this generator i have had no problems and it is Feb and haven't been abel to use it with my camper can't wait.

We needed a quiet generator option for our rv. After much research we decided this was the generator for us. It did not disappoint. We can have a conversation right next to the generator and don't have to raise our voices. We are happy and so are our neighbors!

Just got this set up and running. Remote start worked on first click of the one switch. Has all the features I was looking for in an inverter style generator that I can take with me in my RV or use at home. Only 4 stars because the start up instructions tell you to empty the whole bottle of supplied engine oil into the reservoir, but it is just too much, and pours out a bit and made a mess. Otherwise, very happy with the purchase.

I bought this to replace a Yamaha ef2400. The Yamaha had been almost flawless for 15 years, but we had to be very careful to not overload it with other appliances when the 11,000btu AC unit was running. This unit is the iGen4500 with 3500W rated capacity. I’ve run it about 3 hours with an electric heater for load to cover the specified <50% load break in. It started an ran well. The noise level seems to be comparable to the Yamaha. I think the next 30 hours are not supposed to exceed 75% load. We’ll complete that on our next outing near the end of August 2021. That will also be the first opportunity to run the AC. I’ll update this if possible after that trip.

I purchased this generator to power my new 30ft. travel trailer and it is working great. The remote start/stop fob is a good idea except I still have to go outside to turn the gas and battery on and off. Needing to change the carb jets when I need to use the generator at various altitudes is a problem that Onan corrected with just the turn of a knob. Otherwise, I am very happy with the performance. It's much quieter than the Onan 4000 I had in my Class C motor home which that alone made this purchase worth it.

My old generator went out on my and I was looking for something more powerful and quieter. The Westinghouse iGen4500 is everything I’ve been looking for. Perfect for my travel trailer and nice and quiet so I’m not bugging people at my camp site anymore. Love it!

Very quiet and worked well after I fixed the crank but no start condition due to a connector that had come off the auto choke controller during shipping. Minor repair but disappointing. There is a Westinghouse service bulletin on this issue. A 1 cent dab of RTV during factory assembly would eliminate this problem. Would have given it 5 STARS otherwise.

This generator is great for the deer lease. It's light weight so easy to load/unload. Its quite so you can sleep @ night with it running and doesn't scare the deer off. It has enough power to run one a/c unit on my camper for those early season hunts when its still hot out. Also love the eco mode for the cold season in my camper. I turn it on when I only need to run some lights and a TV or charge cell phones.
