It is quiet running for a generator, that quick start with key fob is excellent seeing as though I have MS and have a hard time with a regular pull start generator. It was very easy to add the initial charge of oil without spilling a drop since Westinghouse supplied a screw-on funnel to make the set-up easy. The Manual was created by folks that had generator experience and is an excellent document of safety, operation and maintenance. After adding oil, gas and moving the Fuel Switch to Choke, I pulled the Recoil Handel twice and it immediately started. Everything worked as described in the manual. Westinghouse has a great product that was produced with Quality as a Priority. I will tell all my friends who own rural property about this great generator at a very reasonable price. Thanks!

I got a model dated 2019 and looks like all complaints have been addressed like the 30amp socket is facing the correct way, no issues with choke, the data display looks like it's a bit different than I've seen in other reviews. The display I have you have to manually switch between the different readouts, butnin other videos it looks like the data readout just cycles through them automatically. This is not a big deal to me. Frankly I'll probably just keep it on fuel remaining hours for the most part.

I wish I would have bought the inverter that would accept gas or gas. My sourness towards Westinghouse is the cover they give you if you fill in a feedback request. Which I did. And, if you did fill this out they would give you a cover for your generator for FREE! The problem is, it doesn’t fit over your generator. They say it’s “ snug”! It doesn’t fit! They will send you a link of where to buy one that does fit…. How funny is that? Not a big deal for me! I just hate the false promises.

Love the led readout of fuel, power used and run time left. It is very quiet. The product manual is dated and images are of an earlier model. Also, when filling the oil they say to use the whole bottle. That overfilled mine and made a mess. Guess some may have been left in at the factory. Other than that everything is good. Time will tell on endurance.

A friend has the same unit and has been very pleased. I had an issue with the automatic choke out of the box, but after following the instructions on the website I was able to quickly fix it. Just wish they would put the instructions in the box, so you wouldn't have to search out the solution. Would recommend 100%!

I chose this one based on the inverter technology. It is much quieter and if needed, one can plug in sensitive electronics directly without worrying they might get fried based on a "dirty" current line as in a standard generator. Think of inverter technology as a "surge suppressor". Also like the ease of use, good value, good name, and better warranty than most others. I like the remote start and electronic gauge readings, especially the time left to run. Started right up the first time I pushed the button. I like it but...hope I never have to use it!

One of the cables was NOT plugged in. Westinghouse needs to do better QUALITY CONTROL. They have an Excellent Product but the People Assembling it are lacking.

I was so impressed that I bought one. The digital display is a great feature for telling you how much run time is left on the tank. I am looking forward to using it for camping.

Voila! Started right up. It is charging my trailer’s batteries. Haven’t taken it on the road yet but so far, so good. Only complaint is that the access to the oil cap is a bit small but otherwise I am happy.

The gas lid gas had some rust on it but I knew it from the reviews I read. If u order a cover for it BEWARE they put it on the very top. Cut mine completely in half opening box. Just did first oil change and very happy so far.

I ended up finding after all that it was just like other bad reviews the automatic choke was not working, I opened the face and the side panel with the pull start cord on it and found the choke wiring harness was unplugged. I did a lot of research before buying this generator and the only bad reviews were because of this same problem so was kind of expecting it. The other bad reviews go back a couple of years so am surprised they haven’t figured out a fix for this issue yet but a simple fix if slightly mechani...

Unpackaged the generator and reviewed paperwork, fill will oil, put gas in it and it started almost immediately. Runs quite and its smooth. I'm an old guy so its a little heavy for me but the pull out handle and wheels makes it fairly easy to move around. Love it so far..

Can easily run appliances without juggling loads. Displays are very useful. Automatic choke surprise benefit. Slightly louder but cannot be heard outside of my courtyard. Recommended by a close friend, whose son in law owned one, and who regretted that it was not available when he updated his generator.

Put some liquid tape on the connection so it shouldn't happen.. other than that it runs my 15 k ac/ microwave ,electric furnace all at once. Sipping was prompt, arrived in good shape, happy so far. Changed oil after fifteen minutes break in, then 15 hrs later, oil was black. I'm thinking that's the limit for me, oil change piece of cake. Thx Mark
