- 4 out of 5 stars review10/2/2018This review is actually for the igen2500 camo version. We purchased it the week Hurricane Florence hit and boy was it a lifesaver. We ran our lights, 1 ceiling fan, 2 box fans, a full size refrigerator, 60" tv, a 32" tv, two xbox one's and our modem and wireless router, and she purred like a kitten and sipped the gasoline. We ran it for 3 days non stop on about 7 gallons of gasoline. I also have a generac 5500 watt and this one is soooooo much quieter compared to that one. I always wanted one of the small Hondas but this one is just as quiet and works just as good for a fraction of the price. I'm actually thinking about purchasing another one to parallel them together for extra wattage. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This generator seems to fit my needs as it has good fuel efficiency, easy to start and quiet for the amount of power it provides.

However I’m rehabbing an old cinder block storage building and my electrician had to drop power for the power company to add a new service. I’d planned to use battery powered tools, but took the IGen 4500 up instead. It ran saws, drills and rotary hammers with no problems. I ran it for 10-12 hours, and it still had almost a half tank of fuel left. I used the pull start both days, and it started on the first pull every time. Downside is the sucker is heavy (expected), and the handle to roll the unit feels a little flimsy.

Connected to RV and it ran ac flawlessly all week. Remote works great. Very happy with my purchase. Exact same generator sold as Onan. But much cheaper. Highly recommend this unit!

To yOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/9/2023I have owned a ton of Generators, I own 54 rental homes in Florida so I’ve had to rely on generators after hurricanes, I bought this one for our RV, it’s super quiet, starts instantly, will run about 12-13 hours on a fill up, we are new to the RV world but was told that what annoys other campers the worst are loud generators, this one can sit beside you and you don’t have to raise your voice just to hear, we have a Honda generator as well but it’s louder than the Westinghouse, we can also run most everything in our camper while it’s on eco mode. Try this generator out and you will feel the way we do

It is he perfect size generator to run all my equipment and the Air Conditioner. We literally sit in the RV and push the remote to start and stop the generator. Couldn’t be easier. The remote is a must. So far the unit has preformed without issue. Back to the RV!

Includes everything one needs to fire it up (except the gasoline, of course). Clear and straightforward instructions - we are currently having our electrician install our transfer switch. Easy to move around, easy to read controls. Push button start is totally great!! We've had a few outages so far this year, and we are now ready for the next one!!

Directions were super simple (this is my 1st time using this type of portable power). I am bringing my travel trailer home next Saturday and will see get a live test as I also have on order the Westinghouse Parallel Power Cord. I was very pleased with the smooth sound too. Of course the real test will be when I use them for boon docking.

I wanted and inverter generator with push button electric start. The inverter was well packed with no damage on arrival. I followed instructions and it fired up with the first press of the starter button. I was also pleased that it shipped with a little trickle charger for the battery, and proper funnel for the oil. Oil was in a separate container for shipping.

The slide out handle makes it super easy to maneuver, and it is still light enough to lift in and out of the pickup truck. It was surprisingly quiet as well. Have utilzed the first two reasons and been well pleased. Runs quiet, easy to operate and move. The wheels and telescoping handle make loading and moving doable.

As quiet as advertised. Decided to go with the 2500 for all power needed for ice house, cabin cruiser boat and house back up. Sold two - now i have one light weight powerful unit that can go up to 10 hrs on 1 gallon of gas!
