Excellent generator, bought during Covid time frame, use this for a remote weekend cabin on and off, in the summer I use for 2 ac’s and a cpap , machine and basic stuff . Sometime it stays in for 24-48 hrs even 72 hrs. Switched to synthetic oil early on.and change oil regularly between 60-80 hrs or when dirty which in the summer is 1x a month . Only issues I’ve had : oil changes are messy, it drains to the plate under it where there is a drain plug which allows you to drain to a oil pan, but it’s still messy and sometimes oil comes out when you think you got oil out later after running it , not best design, push button starting issues after a crap Tom of hrs in it ( not all the time ), still need to trouble shoot BUT after 5 yrs it could be the button , the starter. Rarely use the pull cord, only if if super cold in the teens and the old start choke don’t work after it tried to start by push button. It has a cold start and RPM’s will raise higher if it’s super cold for a few minutes then drop down.I’ve used this on a ext cord to run lights to another cabin probably 150ft-250 ft away on eco mode more than what was suggested to do with no issues for a while. Great gage showing how many hrs left based on load and fule in tank.forgot I had to re tie a “ not” in the pull cord handle .. Over all very reliable inverter with zero repairs.

We replaced an older inverter generator with this unit. Very happy so far. Quiet and durable. Control panel is excellent. Love the electric start. Easy to move around with the extendable handle. Plenty of power to run our 28' camper with ease. Highly recommended.

We bought the I gen 4500C To use it in our grooming business mobile vans. We haven't had a chance to use it for so long yet, But it seems to run very smoothly.And I will be updating for bad or for good my review. It's not that heavy. Nor bulky. I move it with my Dad when I need to bring it down for maintenance .

I bought this unit in March 2021, when I received the unit and seen the outside of box, I was just sure I had a broken or scuffed unit! Much to my surprise the unit was not even touched, all due to heavy foam packing protection, that did its Job . Zero defects. I looked the unit over , removed battery door and connected battery , it was a little bit of a chore to hook up plug as it’s just long enough to work. Big hands don’t help. Located oil fill area, by the way who ever designed the very nice plastic fill funnel that actually threads into the fill hole it’s a Rubber seal washer is a Genuis , no mess and it flat works, keeping this. Filled with oil supplies. Reinstall dipstick and always full. Removed fuel cap and and added about a quart of fuel..Turned unit on as well as Fuel , and hit starter button. Fired right up , like I just stopped it ? Great ! Test run everything worked . Fuel,showed,low, I shut off and filled the tank ! Restarts and gauge showed 21 hrs run time , pretty neat .After running for about five minutes hooked to RV, It actually has the 30 amp rv plug , no other adaptor needed . Win! Ran lights and etc! Five minutes , turned on 15 K ac , unit took the load right off, checked load , stated 25%, ok, so I turned on second 15k. Ac, boom checked stayed with load and showed 50 % duty , also each time I put load on time clocked followed with new run time,(Keep in mind that the temp when I did this is like 65 outside .) might change at 100 degrees . But I was very impressed , I ran it for about to hours , changing from one ac to normal lights and back to both Ac units . The Tow handle is a big plus .

Easily one of the best generators on the market. Super quiet, powerful, and efficient. And you can buy 2 of these for the price of a lesser optioned eu3000i. The remote start and auto choke make starting it up in the morning as easy as pushing a button from the warmth of your bed.

Westinghouse was so anxious to get a review that they automatically triggered this review at the end of the Warranty Registration process. I have not put oil or gas in it yet. I’m currently reading the owner’s manual. I do like the large carrying handles the transport wheels and the extendable handle. At approximately 100 lbs we can carry it easily where the wheels won’t roll.

Bought this earlier this week and started the recommended break-in period this evening. Easy to prepare to run, easy to change the oil. Started 1st pull. Remote worked 1st try from 25 feet. Push button start worked as advertised. Oil change at 1 hour of only normal idle/no load; had some noticeable silver metal shavings. I will run a second hour at idle, then 30 minutes under the load of Travel Trailer's AC and change the oil again and be ready for the summer travels..

I just received my new IGen4500. It was super easy to get rolling with nothing you have to put together. Started right up and really quite. The remote start and handle to move it around are both going to be great. Got fit use with rv and I can start and stop from inside the rv.

I am writing this as a second review .. I just used this for a week straight and it worked perfectly.. very good on fuel 15-16 hours with an AC going on and off ... I broke it in at home, put 5 hours on it and changed the oil... CHANGE THE OIL OFTEN THE FIRST FEW TIMES.. had a lot of metallic but not abnormal , so I changed the oil and ran it another 5 hours at 25% load and changed the oil again and it was pretty good so I filled it with synthetic oil and off on vacation.. flawless is all I can say..I ran it 77 straight hours at one point except for adding fuel .. I am more than pleased !!

1st impressions are this is over all a nice generator yet heavy. The plastic does have some scuff and scratches on it and the fit and finish seems a little off. I was surprised to see that the one I got has a life time run hours meter on it. The generator started right up the 1st time and runs very quietly I really like the telescoping handle in order to maneuver he had around. I was somewhat disappointed that the power meter shows the wattage in kilowatts amd fuel in liters. What is the purpose of the remote start if I still have to go to the unit and flip the battery off and on?
