VERY pleased with this unit. It is powerful, set up very well with the battery, fuel and oil access. The remote start feature will be great when using the unit with the travel trailer and not having to go outside to start. Seems to be high quality, provides a lot of information on the control panel and being dual fuel makes it even more valuable when gas isn't as readily available, but propane is.

I have Big Camper that's 50amp. When downsizing my camping trips I recently bought a tent. Needed a quiet generator for our National Forest, but also this model is quiet (52db) enough, but you can parallel another compatible generator and still run my large 50 amp camper. The iGen5000C Is quite enough to run with my small tenting needs but also my Big camper. When I'm out away from camping or tenting, the remote control comes in handy for my wife to run when I'm not there. Also, the computer display comes in handy when it's about getting dark and whatever load that you put on at that particular time, it will tell you the range running time for that amount of gas and load you have! The display also shows our meter for servicing, and the left side has a bar graph of level of gas. She was in the house a few minutes ago. Wife and I are Happier Campers :)

I've used portable inverter generators since the 1990's and they've come a long way. This one is really nice. It packs a lot of power, is light enough for one person but has wheels and a telescoping handle. It started right up and is very quiet. I ran a few items but haven't had a chance to use it for a prolonged time yet. It ran a shopvac without missing a beat. I'm very happy with it. The oil fill funnel screws on which makes it messy to tell when the oil is full. I'd prefer a plain funnel.

We purchased this unit a few weeks ago and finally ran it today. The provided directions are easy to read and understand. All fluids are easy to fill and Westinghouse has made an easy oil access port and supplied a screw-on funnel for your convenience. Gas fill is on the top and it's nice and wide holding 3-4 gallons of gas. Both sides of the unit can be removed for access to oil fluid fill and the air filter. One other feature we love is the pull out handle which makes moving this unit easy to move around even though it's heavy. Lastly, it comes with a remote start and it fires right up! I asked my wife to come outside and start the generator using the remote start. She was amazed and the ease of operation. Gas, oil, fuel selector, battery on and remote start! So far, we love it.

I bought this generator for my mini donut trailer about a month ago and it's been wonderful. I've had several vendors come up and ask how I liked it and that it was much more quieter than other brands. Electric start is quick and remote start is nice for easy setup. The 3 gallon tank is nice at long events so that you don't have to refill during.

I bought this after hurricane Helene and was just able to unbox and use it yesterday. it's a great little unit. Easy to put together and get going. the remote fob works really well. It works well with my sisters Travel Trailer. and is really quiet! Well done on the design.

I BOUGHT THIS ITEM AFTER MUCH RESEARCH AND I OWNED A PREDATOR 3500 INVERTER I AM AMAZED AT THE QUALITY AND HOW QUIET THIS GENERATOR IS. I OPTED FOR PULL CORD (COIL) BECAUSE IN MY Experience I FOUND THE BATTERY WAS NOT LASTING UNLESS USING CONTINUOUSLY. BUT I SEE WESTINGHOUSE OFFERS A BATTERY CHARGER WITH THEIR UNITS.

Received and got ready for an initial test. No power. Manual had no info about how to hook up battery in setting up. Called support-took info-said I should be contacted back about 10 days. Found battery connection by taking off covers to look where the issue was. Found & it started right up. Needs more info listed in manual.received more wires in box-still don't know where they go if needed-no info! Website no help either. Will use machine with next storm thru if needed.

We purchased the Westinghouse iGen5000DF Dual Fuel generator shortly after being out of power for over a week as a result of Hurricane Milton. This is a very easy to use Dual Fuel Generator that took only a few minutes to fill with oil, connect to propane and get started. Both switch on the unit and fob started the unit with ease. We tested a few appliances and the generator powered them with ease.

Good so far. I have only used in break in for a few hours. Ran lights, hest gun, iron no problem. Specifically bought for 30 amp travel trailer. It is quiet, but not silent, definitely better than standard open frame generator. Only gripe so far is the engine service cover panel requires 2 different tools to remove fasteners because Westinghouse used 2 different types. Wish the propane connection was a quick connect and the hose should be longer. Tue test will be when I finally use it all weekend powering trailer.
