- 4 out of 5 stars review6/21/2024I bought this generator a couple weeks ago. I was able to set up fairly quickly. It worked great for our RV trailer, lasted a pretty good while with the a/c running, tv, refrigerator running. It only shut off once from the CO2 due to the cover, falling over the back.

It seemed to hit all of the marks that I was looking for. Bought a new camper that required a bigger generator and this one hasn’t let me down yet. My initial run with this generator was 24 hours a day for five days consecutively. It never hesitated, it started every time after fueling, and so far this thing has lived up to my reviews.

I sent this issue into the tec boys at Westinghouse and they really came thru. They sent me a e-mail that explained some time the wiring gets disconnected from the back of the starter housing "motherboard". It did take some dis-assambley to reach it but once reconnected the unit roared to life, can't wait to us it in the field. Thanks again TEC guys. Mike W.

The noise level is not loud at all, wife says it sound like a lawnmower running from inside the house. Starts up with a push of a button or the remote. Pull starting fires up maybe after the second or third pull. It's will take two to lift without injuring your back, but if push come to shove you can do it by yourself. Great product and very satisfied.

This generator with its watt capacity, affordable inverter model price and amazing features stands well apart from the rest. It’s beautifully designed and engineered on the inside and outside. After filling it with oil and fuel it started up immediately and purrs like a kitten. Love it! The main use of this generator is for home back up power and occasional camping.

It's especially quiet, which will be perfect for trips with our travel trailer. It's not too heavy, so easy to move around. It seems to run well with a load. My only complaint? The instructions told me to add the entire bottle of oil included, but the unit didn't take it all and overflowed. If I knew there was oil remaining in the unit, most likely from the factory testing, I would have paid closer attention when filling. Overall, I'm very happy with this unit.

Only issue I had was starting it, it want to flood and gas was pouring out from underneath, I think the electric choke was stuck or it was not firing, took the side cover off and press the spark plug wire down and then it started right up.

I wanted to be sure I had enough power to fully power the 30 amp circuit with no problems. This generator definitely fit the bill. I have taken it on a hunting trip and of the 4 groups I was with this was the only generator that could also power a compressor, We had some flat tires. This generator is also remarkably quiet and long last. You can easily have a conversation standing right next to it. This is an outstanding unit so far.

After a few hours boondocking with the RV, it would not idle down in econo mode, ran very rough, was loud and used a LOT of gas. Minimized use for the rest of the trip and checked it when home. Found a wiring connection slightly loose (not the one in a Youtube video) and it seems OK now.

I don't want to be caught without power again. Runs 2 portable heaters and lights with no problem. I also plan to use it as backup power for my RV.

I too have spent a lot of time researching all kinds of generators and found this one to be by far the best bang for the buck. My research has been more so focus on the camping aspect.But it will also be used in Winter for power outages as we tend to have a lot of snow storms where I'm from. Compared to other generators I have used this one is by far the quietest Even when under the load of my A/C,microwave,hot water tank,lights, and TV.I love the remote starter! I don,t have to get out of bed in the morning or go out after dark to start or stop it. Also, I like that there is an easy panel that removes without the use of tools for the oil and battery.

We bought this one because it had a remote start which works great. I wish we had purchased this sooner as we do a lot of camping off grid. It's very easy to use, fairly light and easy to maneuver, and quiet too.

I’m giving it 4 stars based on initial inspection and only a few hours of use. If it continues to run like it has been, in six months I’ll upgrade my rating to 5 stars. Unboxing was uneventful, units fit and finish were good, plenty of useful data placarded on the exterior to help guide you through simple procedures. Unit came with 600 ml bottle of oil and a very handy funnel to add or change engine oil. I added the entire contents of the bottle, filled the gas tank and connected the starting battery. Two pushes of the start button had the genny idling smoothly. After an hour of running with a very light load I connected the genny to my rv and ran the air conditioner, a 15k AC. The ...

Unpackaged the generator and reviewed paperwork, fill will oil, put gas in it and it started almost immediately. Runs quite and its smooth. I'm an old guy so its a little heavy for me but the pull out handle and wheels makes it fairly easy to move around. Love it so far..

I got it up and running in about 15-20 minutes after reading some of the manual to understand some of the operating board. Fired right up on the first pull. Will be using it tomorrow to run a water pump for a couple hours to water 60+ trees. Hopefully all goes well.
