- 5 out of 5 stars review5/13/2020Got this at the end of the WuHon virus nonsense and it's been working great. I got a model dated 2019 and looks like all complaints have been addressed like the 30amp socket is facing the correct way, no issues with choke, the data display looks like it's a bit different than I've seen in other reviews. The display I have you have to manually switch between the different readouts, butnin other videos it looks like the data readout just cycles through them automatically. This is not a big deal to me. Frankly I'll probably just keep it on fuel remaining hours for the most part.

You have to buy a set of carburetor jets and install for each gain in attitude. 2000-3000ft A 3000-5000ft B 5000-6000ft C 6000-7000ft D Changing the jets is not the easiest, and for over 7000 ft the generator is not recommended. In Colorado that's unfortunate for obvious reasons.

Had it out of the box went to the quick start guide and added the oil and fuel. Used the remote start. Started on the second try. I let the engine warm up for 5 mins. and plugged in my 30amp cord to my travel trailer. Tested the a/c, frig. and lights. Just returned from a 2 day trip and no problems running the generator. Only used one tank of gas for the 2 days in the Keys. Great price!

It is so easy to pull around with the wheels and handle, that my 5 year old daughter rolls it around. It has a lot of features that are going to be so useful on our outings. Remote start is amazing when its raining outside. I would surely recommend this to anyone!

However, we have cranked it and used it to run our living quarters horse trailer for a bit. It works perfectly and is really quiet! Who needs to pay waaaay more for a H***a when you can have a Westinghouse for a whole lot less. It serves the same purpose! Love it! And we have already recommended to someone else we know wanting to purchase one!

We can run the A/C, microwave, TV and every light at the same time with no problems. Love the remote start that you pay extra for on other models. It is very quiet and so far have had no issues with our purchase.

The generator was relatively easy to set up, worked well and kept the fridge and a few other things running smoothly. I think it probably could have handled more. It was also relatively quiet. Of course, time will tell, but I'm quite happy with the purchase so far.

Much to my surprise the unit was not even touched, all due to heavy foam packing protection, that did its Job . Zero defects. I looked the unit over , removed battery door and connected battery , it was a little bit of a chore to hook up plug as it’s just long enough to work. Big hands don’t help. Located oil fill area, by the way who ever designed the very nice plastic fill funnel that actually threads into the fill hole it’s a Rubber seal washer is a Genuis , no mess and it flat works, keeping this. Out of the box, the autochoke did not work. fortunately I found a video on YT that showed me how to fix it in about 10 minutes. Unit ran well and met my power needs for my 5th wheel trailer. Unfortunately, the inverter failed after about 125 hours. Warranty service is a hassle. WH's tech support line is not supportive. Finally took my unit to an Authorized Service Center and it took them several weeks to get a replacement authorized. After that WH shipped the replacement in a few days. Unfortunately the autochoke doesn't work on the replacement and the YT video doesn't seem to apply. Back to the tech support grind!

Purchased this generator a couple weeks ago and started it for the first time today. It runs great and is quiet. After I run it a few more hours I will probably have a better idea for how it performs beyond just the first use.

I will receive the trailer tomorrow and started reading the guide for this generator. First of all, I am an older lady who needs something that I can handle on my own. After reading the manual on this, I can take care of everything including maintenance and storing. I purchased a dog ramp, so I can wheel this into my trailer. It is so easy to move. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Remote starter was must to have for me, it works great. The unit won't start without enough oil; this was the only issue I had: it's hard to figure out how much oil went in and its level. Other than that - it's a great product.

Runs quietly, just as I had hoped and has nice display to show how much fuel is left as well as how much power it is generating. Really like that it has an eco mode so that it only makes as much power as needed. Idles a lot (quiet) to do what I need. Very happy so far.
Remote start is real bonus.

The manual was just OK, but I found a few things missing: Nowhere was it mentioned that the remote was clipped to the pull cord. I found that just by spending time with it up close for a bit. The included charger was also a bit of a mystery, but after examining the front panel for a while, I figured out it was to charge the starting battery when it's been sitting for a while - neat feature. Overall I'm happy this all worked out. No issues and it runs quiet and is even easy to move around.

I don't want to be caught without power again. Runs 2 portable heaters and lights with no problem. I also plan to use it as backup power for my RV.

No problems with the auto choke wire harness - it was properly seated. Engine break-in was a non-event. Minimal metal observed in oil changes. Oil drain plug is a little awkward to get to. It might be easier if the oil change access panel was larger. At around 100 lbs, it does not feel like a cheap, lightweight unit. Telescoping handle is a neat feature for moving the unit. The two handles on top seem to be solid when picking up the unit. During testing with the RV, this model was able to run all the appliances and air conditioner unit with ease. I powered only what was necessary: refrigerator, radio, lamp and coffee maker. I rested the generator during the night for 6 hours. On approximately 3 1/2 gallons of fuel and economy setting, I could go for nearly 20 hours of run time. Wonderfully quiet unit. Never missed a beat.
