I just received my unit 2 day's ago, unpacked it, read the manual & prepped it & added oil. Started right up, I ran a flood light for about a half an hour so I could get familiar with the controls. It ran a 120 watt work flood with virtually zero pull. The usage guage is really nice. Its nice to have 3 starting options, remote start with key fob, button on generator or pull start if all else fails. I will find out more about the dependability when I use it in our RV, but I'm pretty certain this is about as nice as they come. I personally will recommend it, I wish it was made in the USA and I'm not crazy about it being made in China, but what's not these day's.

I searched this generator out for an RV camping trip with my family. I was concerned with the power needs for a 26' RV camper trailer and went with the iGen4500 based on recommendations from other avid RV campers. I was very impressed with the unit and its ability to power the entire unit for my family of 5, including the air conditioner all night, every night, and was very quiet. I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for remote power for a larger RV camper.

This is the first generator that I have ever bought and due to its' high reviews I thought it will work well for me. Setup of the generator was straight forward and easy. I tested the machine for several hours and decided that I would change the oil because "now" is a convenient time for me. I did not want to be tackling it for the first time during a power outage. I found access to the oil change plug very difficult to manage. The opening in the plastic case had a couple of sharp edges and it was a very tight area to get a wrench into and maneuver. It would have been MUCH EASIER if the access panel cover was a little larger on the lower left side. That would allow a socket wrench direct access to the oil plug screw and the process would save much time and scraped knuckles. The machine worked flawlessly even under the load of an electric heater and toaster oven and it was relatively quiet. Overall I am pleased with the generator but I am NOT looking forward to the next oil change.

I bought this recently, I have a small Quiet Honda inverter/generator but needed a bit more oomph. This iGen4500 fit the bill to a T and the remote on/off and auto choke is something I couldn't find in similar quiet inverter/generator. I like that it also comes with a set of tools along with an oil funnel. Also nice and quiet, thanks for the great features!

Just picked this up yesterday. Followed the simple setup instructions for fuel, oil, and battery. Turned on the fuel and battery switches and pressed the start/stop button. Turned over twice, started immediately, and idled smoothly. Today I plugged in my R-Pod trailer, and the generator smoothly picked up all loads including AC and microwave. Fuel gauge and run time remaining both show all zeros or it would have been 5 stars. I don't consider them essential, but will contact support.

Bought this earlier this week and started the recommended break-in period this evening. Easy to prepare to run, easy to change the oil. Started 1st pull. Remote worked 1st try from 25 feet. Push button start worked as advertised. Oil change at 1 hour of only normal idle/no load; had some noticeable silver metal shavings. I will run a second hour at idle, then 30 minutes under the load of Travel Trailer's AC and change the oil again and be ready for the summer travels..

Great little generator! I had it for about 2 weeks when the power went out from a tropical storm, fired right up and ran it for about 11 hours straight and it still had 5 hours of gas left. Really quiet and powerful, I couldn't even hear it running inside the house.

I received this as a gift in December and just used it on a camping trip in April. The unit is very quiet and user friendly. The battery makes starting the generator super simple, and the package came with everything needed (less the LP or gas) to get the generator running. I really enjoy being able to use the LP to run the generator as I do not need to worry about gas sitting in the tank and going bad.

This generator was doing very well and was a very quiet one while it lasted. Something happened and it stopped running, could not get it to start back up. I took it to Ludwig Saw & Tool in Waco,Tx. (a registered place to work on Westinghouse generators). Its been setting there for a long time waiting to get worked on. The finally called me today and said the generator was not registered so hopefully that has been completed now. Any help wold be greatly appreciated!

Perfect for my application, goes with 28 foot travel trailer primarily to run air conditioning. Easy to place on rear folding cargo rack thanks to wheels and extended handle. Extended run time with large fuel tank and pleasantly quiet. Battery start or remote start. Has 30 amp plug which matches RV so no adapter needed. Recommended by a friend, ordered the next day.
