I just unboxed this and it is very nice in most every way. Only complaint, and it is a small one, is that with the screw in funnel it was impossible to know that the engine was over full of oil. I unscrewed the funnel and the excess came running out.

I purchased this in advance of hurricane season. I don't need a whole house generator and this is the perfect size to power what I need at about 50% load. Setup was easy. The instructions weren't kidding about filling oil if factory oil still remained in the engine. Battery was fully charged on receipt. Started right up and much quieter than other generators we've had.The carrying handle is convenient. Easy to follow maintenance instructions which I will follow, but I really hope I don't have to use it for what I bought it for.

Just picked up the iGen4500, as most of the others are sketchy on being able to run the A/C. Seems like a nice generator and not too loud or drony. I put oil and gas in it and press the start button and it fired right up. One item that tickles my OCD is that almost all the Phillip's head screws are strips. Either the company needs to use better screws or turn down the torque on their drivers.

I picked it up on Wednesday read manuals went out Saturday 1/30/21put the oil and gas in it looked it all over turn the switches on went with the true start gave it 2 pulls and it fired right up. I was really surprised at how quite it actually is I have an other generator that is 57 db and it is much louder. I really think this will be a great back up and an even nicer addition to the camper.

I did some research and decided on the Westinghouse IGEN4500. It's a great size for our needs to go camping and/or as home back up for power outages. I ordered it online and it arrived packaged well and started on the first try. So far I've only ran the break in 5 hour period and a mock run for a power outage. Performance was excellent! Just took delivery yesterday and it took no time to set everything up. Bought it for a small RV and it handled every power requirement with ease; AC, lights, appliances, microwave, water heater and coffee maker. From my research this was the best on the market for quiet operation and power.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this generator. After hooking up the battery and filling oil and gas, it started on the first pull. I ran it a few hours with a light load. It is very quiet. Read 70db standing right next to it and 52-54db at 50'. I hooked it up to my living quarters horse trailer and it indicated 25% load with the 13,500btu A/C running, went to 75% with the microwave. Who knew they drew this much power? Then turned on a 1500 watt ceramic heater and it approached 100% but the main breaker still held. I highly recommend this product.

We bought this generator for our Houseboat and look forward to how quiet The IGen4500 is. We love the remote start as well. Super easy to use and start up. Runs great!!! Easy to follow instructions as well. I read a lot of reviews and narrowed it down to this one or the Honda and we are glad we chose the IGen4500!!!

I bought this last fall. Finally got a chance to use it for the first time camping last weekend. It started and worked excellent I absolutely love it! the only dislike I have is how you have to change the oil but other than that it's a perfect little machine

Love how powerful yet quite this generator is. And at a fraction of the cost compared to a Honda counterpart. Very pleased with this purchase! The wheels and handle make it easy to transport and fits in the bed of my truck even with the hard trifold tonneau cover. Remote start is very convenient for the chilly mornings when you need to get the coffee pot started but don’t want to step outside yet. Five stars!
