Ready for this Winter!

Last February when Texas’ power grid went down we went 4 days without power. Freak winter storms, hurricane, rolling blacks, zombie apocalypse… whatever, this generator give us what we need to the lights on. I like the dual fuel capacity. In a crisis, gasoline could get scarce so having a propane back up is cool. This unit is large enough to run just about everything in the house minus the HVAC. The plan is to integrate it into our homes system with a transfer switch so it’s seamless. Since the generator is only for emergencies it should last a long time with regular upkeep.

Quick and easy set and use

Set up was quick and easy, put on 2 feet and 2 wheels, install oil with provided funnel. Wish the funnel, which screws in(nice feature) was a tad longer. Put i 4 gallons of gas , set choke, 3 pulls and it fired right up. Supplies all that I need for temp power outage. 2 standard house plugs, 1 RV plug, 1 quick connect (which with a converter cable from big box store will get you 3 more standard household plugs. I ran a small room heater, gameconsole, internet modem and cell phone charges no issues. Great addition to my security in case of a power outage.

Great price and easy to use!

I got this as a backup for increasingly frequent power outages. If you follow the instruction manual closely you'll be up and running pretty quickly. This is my first portable generator and I'm very pleased at how easy it is to start and use. I plugged a few different things of various loads and it was able to handle them with no issues. If you're not familiar with generators, definitely take the time to read the manual--you'll be glad you did. :)

love duel fuel

I bought the generator for confidence during winter weather. The looming threat of ice storms and power outages brings feelings of concern. We have survived 2 100 year ice storms. no heat, Now we can run the central heat. I did the test run and "break in" on propane. I love not having to rely on gasoline. Gas is now my back up fuel.

Great generator, Great features

We purchased this generator 3 days ago getting prepared for a bad hurricane. We have it set up ready to go, The dual with gas and propane is a great feature also. After setting up we cranked it up and it was very easy to pull start it on the first pull. You cannot go wrong with generator.

So Far So Good

Used during a power outage from Hurricane Helene. Powered fans and charged phones, etc. Unfortunately was not able to get before we lost everything in refrigerator and freezer so did not use to power anything like that but feel sure could have with no issues. Happy with purchase and glad will have it for future issues we might face. FYI used Propane and generator usually started with only 2-3 pulls.

Outstanding generator

This generator is a great one to have. I purchased this almost a year ago or maybe more to actually take to my RV by the beach. Living in hurricane prone area prompted the first purchase of a generator over 25 years ago. Stayed in garage on top of my large generator that has 2 flat tires. Being a little ol’ lady, moving the big generator was not going to happen. Wheels on this one are the never flat type. The same will be going on the big generator soon. But back to the program. I just experienced a heck of a storm on 05/16. No power for 5 days. So out comes this baby. Wheeled it to the back yard. Plugged in the house. Presto! Power, not strong enough to run central A/C, but ran the portable A/C just fine. Along with my 2 freezers and 2 refrigerators. Even able to do laundry and run my coffee machine. All at the same time! It ran for almost 9 hours on 4.7 gallons of high octane gas. On standby I had two 20lb propane tanks. For the “just in case” I did not feel like getting more fuel. I am so very happy with this purchase. Very efficient and easy to start. Even for a little old lady like me. P.s. just remember to turn off the petcock valve to ensure all fuel runs out of the generator and to always treat your fuel with a stabilizer for storage. Start your generator at least once a year to ensure its there for you when in need.

Happy with purchase.

Just bought this due to an approaching winter storm. It was the last one at the store. We live in the south so our power lines don’t like ice and snow. The set up was easy to understand and though it took a few pulls to start on propane, it started easily enough. We really appreciate the detailed instructions on maintenance. Should be an easy process to keep maintained.

Excellent Out The Box

We had been hit with some wild weather in NC and decided to get a generator just in case. We put it together, easy assembly, may need assistance for weight to put wheels on. Took a couple times watching a video on YouTube to start it, but once we got it down, it's easy! Was easy to begin with! Started with one pull! Got the dual fuel! Not very loud either!

looks like it has a lot of good features.

I bought this generator over a month ago and it went together very easy. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. It had all the features that I would need for a generator and the dual fuel was a plus. I only started it for now, but will be using it a lot this summer and should get many years of service with it, because it appeared to be very well made.
