Have a craftsman generator that quit after 2 years can’t get parts to fix it. This Westinghouse has a much better build quality than the craftsman for about the same price

Product arrived undamaged. Well made. Good instructions. The only issue I had was when starting for the first time. It would not originally start with propane. Had to use gas and then switch over. May I missed it in the instructions. Overall happy.

we had a winter storm in Jan /2022 and this generator help us keep the power on the house . i like the fact you can use gas or propane. i use the propane and we were able to run heaters to help keep the cold out

Just got this and am pleased with it's features, especially for the price paid. The online ad did say electric start but it does not have that at all.

Bought this last summer and have not had a single problem with it. Used it 4 times in a must need situation & it started to each time with zero problems. A+

runs all we need, as expected. Spark plug was not fully seated at purchase. Took me a bit of dead arm and back strain before troubleshooting led me to that. Otherwise all good.

When your power goes out and you need something reliable, this Westinghouse 5300 DFV did an amazing job to power the entire house. Great value for the price.

I know people with this generator that’s worked great, however it’s not starting upon arrival. Potential warranty claim out of box may be needed. Still troubleshooting. Please be ware.

so far so good im glad that i bought this product,, i am a chicken mom so i bought this product in case my power goes out i can stay warm and so my chickens can stay warm ,,
