I was looking for a reasonable priced generator for my home in case the power goes out. I liked it because I can travel with it for camping. A friend recommended this one and hade never an issue with it. Can't wait to lose power ha ha to see it in action.

Because of frequent power outages the need for a generator was a no brainer. I purchased this duel fuel power generator almost 2 months ago and so far it has performed as advertised. It powered medical equipment, refrigerator, and freezer as well as a fan for a short period of time. I have not needed it luckily for extended duration. Seems to be a good product.

Generator was very simple to start and operate, on my second try. First one I was shipped to as a dud and would not start. Second one arrived just fine—started up with some minor oil burning off & leaking. After that, it worked just fine for a 30 min test run. Overall quality seems just OK, but it does it’s job for the price.

I have a small collection of propane tanks laying around. Because this generator can use propane, I have filled up the tanks in case of emergency. They can be stored indefinitely and the propane won’t go bad like gasoline will. I love having options!

I received the unit and inspected all around and found an air cover clip broken off. There were some slight bends in the frame, but nothing to keep it from operating. I filled the generator with oil and gas and ran the 1 hour break-in and then plugged in a space heater that put a load on and no problems. I plan to store it until I have the house wired to accept generator power and that will be the test.

I bought this item two years ago to have on hand. I used it one time and it worked great. I needed to use it again durning our last snow storm (Jan 2023). It worked for an hour, I heard a "pop" and I haven't been able to get it to work again. I'm really hoping it's a simple fix. As it is still under warrenty, I will file for that. I will update this review after that.

I bought this Westinghouse generator 1 week ago because of a power outage. Very easy to assemble,was able to power up a portable ac unit, run my refrigerator hook a few lights and a couple of fans. Ran off of gasoline 1 tank lasted about 10 hours. I would highly recommend getting one for emergencies.

this unit will get you through a power outage nicely !!! love the dual fuel capability gives you another option in an emergency situation !!! only take away it's a little louder than i thought it be, but is not a deal breaker, i'd still purchase it again.

I bought this item due to recently buying a travel trailer, use it to help open the slide and power the trailer up when I’m not near a plug in works great. Not to heavily to lug around and works great with the 30 amp plug, would recommend this to only my Travel Trailer buddies

Great price for a feature packed generator! I don't even miss the electric start. Without an expensive ATS and a trickle charger being on your SLA battery 24x7, an electirc start gen is a waste of money! Love it! Westinghouse is an American company stooped deep in innovative history.
