Good machine and I'm happy with how it performs. Keeps two fans and a 5000k window unit running. Only used propane and was happy with the results. One issue that is somewhat irritating is cleaning the spark arrestor. The grill is too tight for a screwdriver to fit in the slot easily.

I bought this unit to replace my old generator that would not start. I figured with the Westinghouse name and with the great reviews this was the best choice. The weight of the generator is easy to roll around and with the hurricane season about to start I needed a generator in case of emergencies.

I recently purchased this generator and am very happy with it. The build quality is good. I put in the oil and some fuel and it started on the first pull. It is easy to use. I bought for emergency use and it should be capable to running all the appliances in my house. I was concerned it might get beat up in shipping based on other reviews, but fedex delivered it in good shape. My only complaint (which is minor) - the oil drain plug is located directly over the lower support of the frame. Oil changes could be messy as there is not enough room to fit a pan between the plug and frame and oil will drain directly on the frame.

I've just started using this model and I'm loving the electric start and key fob. (I previously had a westinghouse with just a pull start) I use my generator alot because I'm off grid living and it's been amazing! I needed to upgrade to an electric start sense I'm by myself and sometimes it's difficult for me to use the pull start. So far, both generators have not let me down. I suggest purchasing another key fob though sense it only comes with one. Pairing them is pretty simple aswell. And sense I have 2 westinghouse generators, i know I'll always have a reliable backup just incase

I decided on this generator after a ton of research and consider it a great value of features for the price point. I've ran it on propane so far. I bought it for emergency use and tested it with the 30 amp service in my RV. Works great. Ran steady, wasn't even bothered by a small load. Starts right up with very little effort. All around a good buy.

Bought in March but didn’t need it to operate until this last summer heatwave (9/22). Upon opening box, all parts and manual needed for a quick setup and test run were there. Fast connect to propane. With choke on, started in two pulls. Powered my home fridge, and a couple of floor fans. Very satisfied!

I bought this item recently, but based on initial impressions, and trial runs for both gasoline and propane, I think this generator is well thought out, and easy to operate. It also has a relatively low price compared to other generators with similar features and ratings. The engine starts easily, and the sound level is pretty low for a generator at this wattage rating. Extra features I appreciate include the dedicated breaker reset buttons for each output, the ease of switching between gasoline and propane, and the inclusion of a petcock that allows for easy drainage of the carburetor bowl when storing the unit.

I'm glad I bought this generator because it's dependable, it has a convenient dual fuel power, the price was right for all the features it brings. It was easy to start it, runs smooth, it comes with wheels for easy moving around. I'm very satisfied overall.

We bought this with emergency in mind. We live in an area prone to hurricanes and we thought we might get prepared this year. We hope not to use it but very relieved we have it. Although first time buyers (us included) need to run it BEFORE you truly need it, so take time to prep your generator. So take time to know your model.

My Generator arrived in pristine condition. Once unboxed the instructions were clearly written and easy to follow, it took about 10 min to get it set up and running. I chose to run on LP gas. it started right up and was humming like a sewing machine. I would highly recommend getting one for your needs.
